The quick release supplied with the nozzle as shown in the photo has a parallel thread and is sealed with an O-ring, not a tapered thread. It's not the size commonly found on home compressors and I needed to change it. Two attempts to attach a brass male quick disconnect with a tapered thread have leaked at the threaded joint after a few days, using either teflon tape or Permatex sealant. I think that the plastic housing is too thin to handle the hoop stress imposed by a tapered thread. Ozito would be wise to provide an additional smaller QR fitting with the matching O-ring seal. It could also use a hook feature because it's hard to hang up without that.

This air gun is nice and compact and comes with a Nitto connector. It is perfect for general work bench and tool clean up. It moves quite a bit of air but if you are looking for a precision air gun look at something with a thinner nozzle.
