Bought this a couple weeks ago thinking it would be of the same quality as other Ozito products I have. The motor gets extremely hot, too hot to touch after 4–5 minutes and that’s without any load. Very noisy operation.

Bought this today and got it out of the box, plugged it in and it would not start at all just hummed and even turning the wheel didn’t work. Why sell a product that does not work? Taking it back tomorrow! What a waste of time!

It's not bad. Vibrates a little, not the most powerful ever but that's not what you've paid for. Ask honest little worker that does what you'd expect (unless you expect more than is reasonable).

The fittings well screws supplied are total rubbish if you plan on attaching to a bench get fittings before you leave the shop
INSANE VALUE FOR THE PRICE! I am an amateur Knife-maker who makes knives as a hobby and I was stoked with how good the machine was after I bought it. I am usually very cautious when buying products and usually take into account all the negative reviews about how this machine is underpowered and overheats in “2 minutes with no load” and how the motor blows up. I’ve had this for about 1 month now with heavy use daily (grinding out metal every day) for about 2 hours and have not run into any major issues. The wheels take about 5 minutes to change and the motor is extremely good for the price. I can grind metal slowly and if I grind metal the motor starts to get warm after about 30 minutes. It only takes 5 - 10 minutes for the motor to completely cool down while plugged ... MoreINSANE VALUE FOR THE PRICE! I bought this grinder to do some light rust removal and it worked well for that part. Used the wire wheel and was removing paint from a small knob from a set of draws and the base cracked and separated from the motor section.
Bought just for sharpening drill bits and chisels. Came with the wheels badly aligned. The drive itself is also very noisy. The body also gets hot enough to burn you after about 2 mins of running under no load.
Used once to sharpen drill bits, probably 10 minutes of use in total- ran extremely hot while doing this simple job. On the next use, it failed to start … could get it spinning by turning it over by hand, but it would stop under any load. Unfortunately I lost the receipt so could not get a refund, although I wouldn’t bother to exchange for another of these anyway … left it on the counter at Bunnings so they can use it as a paperweight (probably all it is good for).
The grinding discs need to be thicker and more durable and needs better guards that don't get in the way when grinding or sharpening things
Received this as a present. After a few uses it is making cracking noises when starting up and slowing to stop, and gets too hot to touch. It can't even cope with light use without slowing down. A waist of money.
