Bought this unit within the last month to buff and polish a car, The velcro attached buffing pad is absolute rubbish. Buffs on a flat surface sort of ok but when you change the contour on a car panel, the foam pad just disintegrates around the edges. Might be ok for flat sanding with the sanding pads but definitely not suited to working on a car.

Used 4 times in 12 months to polish my car an a couple others. Speed setting is really sensitive. Got extremely hot and started melting the internals, started throwing melting plastic all over my car -.- never again!

I bought this product as I love working with pallet wood but found that the time it took to sand and get a nice smooth surface was very long. Not anymore! This sander polisher takes away as much wood as you want and the variable speed allows you to control the amount easily. Its not super heavy feels good to use as well. I have a few Ozito products and I have not been let down yet.

Have brought to grind and polish a concrete table. Actually blew me away as I am a tradie and have all sorts of tools. Only thing that's a let down is the trigger doesn't lock so when polishing I use black tape to hold the trigger on
I was sceptical to try this as not too many reviews about it but can confirm it is a great tool for sanding down weatherboard house, not even on full speed it was powerful enough to strip paint quite well. It is stronger than you think but once you get hang of it it’s great. Also the flexibit 178mm sanding discs bunnings sell fit it perfectly so no worries about getting replacement discs
Had an awful ceiling join and this bad boy was my ticket out. The only problem with this excellent tool is that BUNNINGS DO NOT STOCK REPLACEMENT SANDINGDISCS FOR IT. Needed a couple more pads to finish off nicely but no dice.Unfortunately this sander is a paperweight without Being able to buy additional 180mm pads
I was looking for a buffing machine for my car and found this one looked at the video and read the reviews and bought it but unfortunately it's very hard to use on car however they claim it does the job but no it didn't. I ended up doing my car manually polished. It's too heavy and keep punching. Scratched body paint as well! Wast of money! And for sure I won't trust reviews ever again.
As another poster said, needs a trigger lock and a lighter trigger. It's got a trigger guard so why make the trigger so heavy?I've been using a Velcro strap over the trigger with a foot pedal in momentary mode (dead-man mode) to keep it safe.Otherwise it's great, takes most of the 125mm angle grinder accessories, max speed is about half of what a grinder does.Speed control works, weight and balance are good and it's easy to control.Excellent value.
When I washed the foam applicator in warm water, the backing fell off the pad, rendering it useless to use again, but I guess the sander bit will work ok, but I didn"t buy it for that, I bought it to use polishing my car
