Bought this item, wasn't at my local store, had to travel to get it , got it home and it wouldnt go, bad on switch.! Drove back in for a replacement...drove home, plugged it in and again bad on switch, tested in other power points...no go.! Might be a bad batch. So I bought the funny green brand.!

Worked so well that I bought a second one and put my bigger brand, more expensive sander back in the shed, used it for 8 hours straight using 40 grit on a seriously demanding project and it handled it like a champ. On/off switch is a little challenging

My Ozito sander is o.k. for such a low price. Definitely not a professional tool but it does the job. I am a tradesman but not currently in the trade. I am used to much better but I think this is ok for DIY
I tried to remove paint on wood. The moment you apply pressure, the disc slows to a crawl. Completely hopeless. There is no way I could get off all the paint
Love this sander as it does the same job as my 1/3 sheet sander but weighs so much less.I'm female, 65 and 152cm tall and I find most tools too heavy for me. This one is perfect.
When my far more expensive branded 6' Orbital sander spun the thread out of the pad after only 30mins use from new, rendering it useless, i switched back to the Ozito 5' and managed to get the job finished. How long it will last is yet to be proven but it got me out of trouble for my small home project when my more expensive orbital let me down. Highly recommend for the home DIY'r.
Bought this two days ago, disappointed to say the least, under powered any pressure applied and it slows down considerably, taking back tomorrow and getting something else with more power, the hock and loop system works well though.
Good product, this is the second one I've bought as I loaned the first to a friend and never got it back. Reliable and does the job however there is one flaw I found. After about a month of use the velcro head lost its adhesion and the disks would start flying off. Had to replace the head, off memory was around $20 to $30. Other than that it's fine. Must wear PPE as it can be quite dangerous when they suddenly go flying off!
spins very fast but as soon as it touches the wood it slows down and wont do anything, if you apply even a small amount of pressure it stops moving and slowly moves back and forth, only reason my review isn't one star is because it is functional, but only for people smoothing a surface, not actually sanding it, defiantly wouldn't buy, if you are an amateur wood worker than you can either buy this, then buy a better one in a few months, or buy a better on to begin with.
