I've had these for 2 years and love them. It makes pruning so much easier and the battery lasts for hours. Keep in mind they do have a max thickness they will cut through. For thicker branches we use the ozito pruning saw, which works very well too.

Not happy with the performance of these pruners, about to return them. Total inability on my part to lock blade into position in spite of following instructions to the letter. Surely it should be easy to manipulate the blade into place. Every time I used them to prune my roses they fell apart. Not happy Jan!

I bought these as a birthday present for my wife, who is a keen gardener. They are a complete fail- will not even cut as well as an $8 pair of hand pruners. The blades separate sideways, which just jams the stem being cut between the blades. The design is very obviously faulty. Don’t waste your time with them. Returned for a refund- I would give zero stars if I could.

So poor I wish I could take them back. Unfortunately they aren’t faulty, they’re just terrible. I can cut through thicker branches with standard secateurs faster and with less effort. These actually struggle to cut even the thinnest of branches off a shrub. Totally useless.
Reading these reviews I thought that we were discussing a different tool. I have had my Ozito cordless pruner for about 12 months and I am very happy with it, it does a great job with little effort. On larger branches I use the Ozito pruning saw, which is also a great product.
I bought this Dec 2022 . By mid January, I'd had enough . It's very slow ,struggles to cut even smallest branches . I was much quicker with my hand secateurs. I've now returned it . Definitely not recommend it .
Bought specifically to prune roses. Squashes branch instead of clean cut even on small green branches. Blade too short to be useful and blade fell out within the first hour.
A bit disappointing. It doesn’t open very wide and doesn’t really have much power in cutting. There are definitely better products out there I’m sure. I have a number of ozito battery products and this is the only one I have not been happy with.
I found this to be a rather disappointing product and I returned it to the store. It does OK with very small branches & twigs but doesn't really compete with a standard hand powered pruner. I could prune the small branches quicker with a hand powered pruner. I bought it primarily because I have arthritis in my right hand but it didn't really help that problem much either.
Hard on the hand, and most times will not cleanly cut through even very thin branches. I suspect that because the moving blade is spring loaded it leaves a small gap which does not let it cut cleanly through the bark at the end of the cut.
