All the trimming power I need.Cleaning and maintenance is a breeze.To make the plastic sheath easier to put on, I cut tiny nicks (1mm chamfers) in the 4 corners of the sheath where they were getting caught. Now slides on easy!I regret not buying one sooner!

This thing is great. I’ve ditched my Husky 4 stroke long pole for this little unit. So much easier on the ladder with a big hedge, can hold with one hand while I pull the cutoffs off the top of the hedge. Makes cutting my big hedges a lot more enjoyable (tolerable)

A really useful tool for the garden. Being electric, I don't have to worry about fuel, etc. Had been using a larger version which was a bit awkward to use in some situations. Only drawback is the ability to cut through thicker branches, but overall very happy with it.

For years I've done my trimming by hand but not anymore, this electric trimmer is amazing!Super sharp light weight and is powerful enough to handle the hedge, rose bushes and garden shrubs. Gardens never looked so good.
This unit operated for about 10 minutes out of the box before it developed intermittent starting and stopping, depending on the orientation of the unit (i.e. horizontal or vertical). It then tripped the RCD on the power circuit, and even on another circuit totally failed to start again. Nothing obviously wrong to look at, but it's off back to Bunnings for a full refund.
Bought this today based on the reviews given here and the price. I was initially looking at the Ryobi but the reviews were pretty hit and miss. I don't have acres to do but a couple of hedges (approx 10 meters in length) that I was tired of doing with the manual clippers.Now I haven't had experience with any other trimmers but this one seemed quite well made, light and capable of the job I had for it. I imagine using it once a month so will be interesting to see how long it holds up for. But with a 3 year warrantee, if it decides to pack it in I'll just change it out for a new one.The only little niggle I have is the blade cover is flimsy and difficult to put on.
It was fine for the first 15-20 mins, then got VERY loud, and had been very loud ever since. We don’t feel like we can use it, it echos across the whole suburb and drowns out even our neighbours’ mower. We’ve checked to make sure nothing is stuck, that it’s all fine etc. because it seems like something this loud shouldn’t be on the market.Otherwise, it cuts well and is a good size.
Although I have used this item only a couple of times, it certainly cuts extremely well and does what it is intended to do. It's too early to comment on its longevity but the three-year warranty implies that Ozito have faith in this product. A minor criticism is that although the scabbard seems a little flimsy it is adequate and may well be much more durable than it looks. Overall, great value for money and I'm pleased that I bought it.
Very good and did a great job at trimming my hedge however giving 4 stars only because of the cord: could they make a shorter one please? No seriously, could they not have added a bit of length to it?
The price, the weight and the performance all match perfectly.was surprised that it cut even very thick brancher of my hedge quite well.low weight meant was easy to handle for long periods, compared to my experience with petrol powered ones.Cable connected means i don't have to worry about battery running out in the middle of a job. Also i rekon the wired version has more power.
