I am quite impressed with this saw, brushless motor takes everything you throw at it effortlessly with precision. Of course this is budget brand but a alot better than i was expecting, i have ripped out 2 inches thick timber easily all you need is patience and let the saw work. I chose the brushless model after experiencing the noticeable difference in torque between Ozito brushless and normal drill driver. The supplied blade is also able to give good results on plywood and timber with very minimal splintering on plywood, though an upgrade can be an option if needs further improvement. I have been using 3.0Ah and 2.0Ah batteries which are enough for my cuts( a mix of plywood and 1 inch timber mostly for a chickem coop and garden bed etc) and still i can swap them to ... Painted shoe stops you from perfectly squaring the blade. Otherwise it's fine. They could remedy this by masking before painting.

I had the $79 version which was great for rough cuts, I found that I couldn’t cut long straight rips even with a fence jig, however this one seems to do it with no issue, I figured it’s the hinge connecting the saw to the base is more stiffer.

Great value diy gear for around the property
I am very surprised with this saw, I purchased this skin and a 5.2ah battery as my old 15 year old Makita died. Got it home charged the battery and cut 50mm solid timber slabs to length and width, 3 meter long cuts on 50mm kiln dried slabs and didn't miss a beat, battery life was very acceptable considering the load I put the saw under. I am extremely impressed with this saw.
Cuts well, seems to have plenty of power. Offset gate attachment pretty cheesy, almost useless. Main niggle is you can’t sight the blade at the cut point so have to rely on making a gate. Existing has a mark but it’s very accurate for sightline. Best make a test cut in scrap and scribe your own mark.
excellent tool for any DIY handyman for precision, affordable, hopefully durable.quieter cpmpare to the corded model, powerful for DIY job.
