It's OK and works for small jobs but tricky to get even results. It will go through a battery very quickly. Use at least a 4Ah battery, with a 2Ah battery it will bind at 1mm or more. The depth adjustment plate at the font moves around a little under pressure when you push down left or right. Compare it to other planers at the store to see if you can work with that sloppiness to get even results.

Bought one today, haven't used it yet. The manual says angle bracket for the parallel guide is supposed to have a slot. In reality it just has a single hole thus making it impossible to adjust the hight/depth of the parallel guide. If you are buying a planer though, you probably have a drill and a pair of straight hands to drill additional holes (or even cut a slot) yourselves. I might do just that eventually.

Bought this used once. Uneven blades caused deep grooves in the timber. Impossible to get the planed finish you want. Avoid this product. Kills good timber fast!.

Okay for very light work.
Verry poor verry little depth and even on the lowest setting little power only works on soft wood
