From the outset I have to state that although I am not a tradie/pro, the majority of my cordless tools are from the pro brands, but in some cases I just can't justify the extra expense for some lesser used tools.So I bought this for those quick jobs where it is inconvenient to drag out the corded heat gun due to distance from a power outlet or to use a lighter due to safety etc.For it's intended purpose it is perfect. Another fantastic addition to our ozito collection, bought to dry wet foot wells after four wheel driving and even though this took some time it worked perfectly, not up to heavy duty tasks nor should it be expected as this is aimed at home convenience more than anything else, portable, cord free, cheap, very handy indeed, cracking job ozito :)

Good heat gun that comes with useful attachments. Haven't used it for long but construction appears to be of good quality. Also very quiet operation. The reviewer that gave the product one star and said it was no hotter than a hair dryer either had a faulty unit or was lying. I'd like to see them use this heat gun on close to their head!

Bought it for a job, works great but you'll need a couple of batteries depending on the job as it drains a 4Ah in about 10 minutes of constant use. Still worth it when working away from mains power.
Great little heat gun perfect for smoothing resin bubbles which is why I purchased it. Affordable and does the job, no cords getting in the way.

I'd save your cash. Not hot at all
It works well, but the spring-loaded attachment mechanism and ceramic diffuser break very easily if you drop it. The cool-down feature is nice. I understand why it might not have a lock feature for safety reasons, but it would be nice to be able to let go of the trigger while holding heat-shrink into the airstream.
