It cut about 15" of thin sheet metal - then failed, despite having the right metal-cutting blade. The motor is weak, so can only cut soft wood, of maybe 12mm thickness. Anything beyond that, and expect this to fail completely. Do NOT but this.

This is my first JS, which i decided to purchase along the 18v impact driver to rebuild my deck. They both played big parts in the project.This worked straight out of the box. I used it to cut treated pine, the stock blade worked fine. I found the plastic attachments are flimpzy, they keep on falling off.At this price range, it's great value.

Brilliant, best jigsaw I've used. First cordless. Pendulum is great, variable speed trigger is fantastic for controlling your cutting speed and provides for higher accuracy.

Very well built, nice balance, good power. Buy some decent blades and its equal to the name brand tools. Was so impressed I’ve taken the time to write my first ever review.
I bought this for some small DIY jobs. It had no problem cutting 18mm thick plywood. Noise and vibrations seemed relatively low to me. There is a bit of movement sideways with the blade and it doesn't line up dead centre so it would make it difficult to make really precise cuts. Only came with one blade, some of the other models come with more. Otherwise great entry level tool.
I am not an expert in Powertools so I started off with Ozito Drills. And now I have a whole range of Ozito powerxchange tools. This Jigsaw is the latest and I am loving it. First the price point. It’s cheap and affordable. Secondly it does a great job.
The blade that comes with it isn't great and following instructions to insert the splinter guard, the small plastic bit broke. Unfortunate timing as I needed that for the piece I wanted to cut and with Covid the shop is closed so I'll need to wait to exchange. The machine has power and I think it will be good in the long run. I recommend it but buy another blade straight away and be careful with the splinter guard, maybe open it and try to put it on before leaving the shop!
I just did my double sink cut out in a 32mm thick hardwood kitchen bench top.. even with the standard blade, it cut through with ease and accuracy. It was first cut, so I took my time. Still. The battery surprisingly lasted long enough.. I’m switching all my chordless tools from Ryobi to Ozito,
I bought this a while ago and it had very light use. The blade attachment device disintegrated, fell apart and wasn’t repairable. This is an obvious design fault. Bunnings wasn’t interested in replacing it. It ended up in the trash.
Bought this for a laundry project and have been very impressed with the power of the motor and the features included such as the adjustable pendulum, inbuilt light etc. It also seems very well built. Yes, you will have to buy some good quality blades of course but that's a given with any jigsaw you buy. It had plenty of power to complete a sink cutout in 35mm particle board and the blade/markings are true.
