I love it so easy to use, I bought it so that i could use it on a number of things. I used it to cut back the agapanthus that hadn't been touched for at least 12 years so you could imagine how thick the bulbs were. The Ozito Reciprocating Saw just glided through the hard woody stump just like slicing through butter, with no hesitation or drama. I wish i had bought it earlier it would've made my garden clean up so much easier and quicker.

Bought this 2 days ago, hoping it would cut through 20mm pine boards. Doesnt have the power to do small jobs. I guess thats what you need to expect when it is 3 times cheaper than a cheap brand.

My first reciprocating saw. Needed it for garden work.upgraded blade to 9 inch and this thing is amazing. Cuts through tree trunks up to a foot wide like a hot knife through butter. Why woukd you use a handsaw if you have this. One of the best garden tools i have ever owned

I bought this to compliment my chainsaw and corded recip saw. It’s light so if you are up a tree you can hang it off your belt, strap etc. BUT- you need the top blades. AND a bigger battery. It’s not as good as a Ryobi, blew that one up, AEG, burnt that out, or Makita- still going. But it is a fraction of the price.
Ive had this machine about a week now and have used it alot! Ive mostly used it for cutting firewood and it has done the job brilliantly! Things to mention: The blade thats come with it is small and flimsy so i bought the Kango blades and theyre great! Also this does chew battery power so would recommend using the 4.0ah or investing in the 5.2ah ULTRA. But overall amazing saw for the price!
Have used this one and also the pruner PXCPRS-018. This reciprocating saw has less control at slow speeds (contra the specs) but a faster stroke and more power (again contra the specs). It has a 22mm stroke length compared to 20mm for the pruner version. This one cuts thru’ steel like butter if you start off slow and close to the brace, then gradually work forward along your metal cutting blade, increasing pace. It prunes well, but with less control than the dedicated pruner. Used 6” metal blades (Lenox) which are cheap, just to get a feel for the saw. 9” Kango pruning blades (with the big sharp teeth (I/N: 0012923) work well on both saws if you have experience but if not stick with shorter (max 6” blades) for all materials. Good saws.
I needed a saber so for some DIY and thought this would do the job so for basic wood cutting. Its not the good to use, not power and the blade bends a lot. I opted to manually cut things instead of using this saw in the end.Save your money and upgrade to a better tool.
It works a dream. So much easier to remove the bunch of bananas and cut up the banana tree and palm fronds.Just be aware that … Straight away … you need to wash the sap off the blade.
We had a 25 year old spa that died but would cost $1000 to get out of yard or a crane. I had an idea. Cut it up into sections. The Ozito worked a treat. I already had 2 batteries from an Ozito portable saw . $55 spent and a few hours work saved me $$$heaps. Saw had lots of power. The only complaint was the pack contained only a light on single saw blade. Bunnings man identified the likely consequences and sold me a pack of assorted Kanga saw blades. Only used 1 of the pack
first the trigger lock started jamming - couldn't turn it off - dangerous actuallymuch mucking around getting it to workthen the motor stopped - in all it lasted about an hour5 yr warranty - no - they wont replace it as it had been used on some jibdon't waste your time and money on it
