I purchased this two months ago to irrigate from a dam. The pump sucks the water water uphill from the dam before pumping it out a considerable distance to our top paddock. You have to prime (refill it with water) after every use/battery change but this takes 20 seconds and is very straightforward. I use 4ah batteries and get roughly 18 minutes on high. overall this pump well and truly surpassed my expectations. Great product :)
