I've had this for over 2 years, picked it up early on in entering the PXC ecosystem and the 2 x 4Ah batteries with the $279 price tag at the time increased the appeal. Even at that price, I wouldn't buy it again. I'm not a small guy and it's extremely top heavy, moreso at full length, even with bigger batteries on the motor head. The line trimmer guard is to big and clunky and makes vertical trimming unnecessarily difficult. The propriety bump feed line replacement is expensive. The pole saw leaks oil unless stored precariously and that's with the hassle of draining the oil each use. Does the job but very heavy to handle. Hedge trimmer works well
Bought this about 2 years ago. Parts breaking on it left, right abd centre. When i spoke with Ozito and Bunnings, they said that the faulty parts were "consumable" even though its a functional part of the whipper snipper. After inpaid to replace the faulty parts, they broke again and again.
Bought one mainly for the brushcutter attachment for some of the thicker grass that my Ozito line trimmer struggles with. Got about an hour use out of it before it simply stopped. Took it for a return, got a replacement and the same thing happened after a little over 2 hours use (lasted twice as long, amazing). On top of not lasting, the ergonomics are poor; it's awkward to hold and the trigger spring is very strong, requiring enough force to keep the tool going that after 10-15 minutes of use you start experiencing grip fatigue. I have 9 Oxito PXC tools and a dozen batteries, never been let down by any of them and most are 2 or 3 years old at this point. Glad I was able to get my money back easily. This one needs to go back to the drawing board.
Bought this kit when it first came out and been relatively satisfied. Consequently, I have gone back and purchased a number of other Ozito products.I am now in the market for another 4 in 1 and found out the new outlandish price and lack of 2x 4ah batteries.Really!Bunnings.... cutting back on specs and significantly increasing the cost. Sadly, I won't be purchasing another one.
This used to be a good deal when you got 2 x 4amp hour batteries with the kit and for 280 dollars. For this price and 2 x 2.5amp hour batteries I would avoid.But my original one is going strong. The only thing I broke was the chainsaw attachment which was the most useful for me. The inside gear to drive the chain was powdered metal which broke when i was a little rough with the pole pruner.
