I had previously had a Great Outdooors camp chair which I’d had over 15 yrs and loved but the day came when a leg support snappedSo I went on a mission found online a company advertising Oztent King Goanna chair very similar to old chair but on receiving this chair I must say the high back, side and insulated drink pockets, extensive padding and good leg length support its a great design have already christened it at the beach had quite a few enquires from beach goersIts great for nursing sleepy grandchildren at the beach

We have had the Oztent Goanna Chair for years and its still going strong. With growing kids and burning through too many cheap chairs to count we made the wise decision to invest in some camp chairs which will go the distance.Really well built and comfy. I love how the cover can be used as a head rest. This is a great feature. I love the stubby holders but apparently not much good for wine glasses... Probably its only real let down.There is a technique to packing it back in the bag, as with most camping gear, and a little practice. Overall a well made, great chair for camping and for the weekend sports games. Seriously don't waste money on the $25 chairs if you intend to use them more than once or twice as I have done. -Takes a little getting used to not having cupholders in the arm rest, but the chair is great! -Bag could be bigger -The wife has the hotspot version - which has the hot spot, but also has a bigger net pocket on one side which i think it better. $30 price difference at time of purchase

Completely satisfied with this purchase. The King Goanna Chair is competitively priced and offers a super comfortable, high backed chair that feels supportive and is spacious enough to lounge about and completely relax - would definitely recommend.
It’s a fantastic chair. For that price, it is a must.Strong, comfortable and solid. A touch heavy, but you’re not carrying that much that it’s a problem. The carry bag is awesome too. It’s strong and the chair fits in without an issue. Two insulated drinks holders and metal feet which is a bonus at this price point.
After trying a large number of camp chairs, this was the one that was the strongest and most comfortable. I thought the chair was very comfortable prior to putting its bag in the headrest pocket but this simple step took the comfort to another level. I'm just over 6 foot (and 105 kg) and was able to sit naturally in the chair and rest my head against the head-rest - exactly what I was looking for in a camp chair. The metal brackets on the feet are a nice touch, as are the pockets on both sides of the chair. It's early days so I can't comment on the longevity of the chair but it appears to be well made and certainly a step up in build quality from the majority of the chairs on the market.
I've been using the King Goanna for a month now. Solid chair & I think it will go the distance. Great padding which makes for a comfortable seat. I'm 5'9 and due to the height of the chair you wouldn't want to be any shorter than me otherwise your feet wont touch the ground. It's a heavy chair so you wouldn't want to carry to far. Good size cooler holder, not sure if you needed the same on each side? maybe a bigger pouch on one side for a book instead. My previous chair was a Darche which was a bit more layed back & not so upright in the seat. I think i'd buy another one of these King Goanna's for the extra $20 over the Darche.
Nice comfortable, sturdy chair. Like the cushioned back. Easy to get out of as opposed to other chairs that are too low and difficult to get out of. Little heavy to carry but that’s the price you pay for sturdiness. Would prefer drink pocket to hold a wine glass and water bottle and the other side pocket to hold tablet or laptop.
This chair's best feature is its adjustable lumbar support strap. It offer greater comfort than most other chairs, at the expense of being relatively large even when folded. Its comes with a steel frame and a 5 year warranty. In my experience aluminium-framed quad-fold chairs are lighter, but their folding joints are prone to failure. A minor negative is that the headrest is a little too prominent when it is stuffed with the carry bag. We may be able to fix this with a bit more experience. We haven't yet taken it camping. If it survives to the end of the warranty period, it may warrant a five star rating.
very comfortable, simple and strong design. with a good quality storage bag that you place seat into then zip up around it like a duffle bag. i weighed up all my options and this was the best for practicality, storage size strength and comfort. highly recommend.
