Reasonably lightweight and quite comfortable. We liked the high back and adjustable positions. Looks like it should last a while. The stubby holder is an obvious afterthought and is pretty pointless and impractical. No loss for us as we wouldn't have used it anyway, but worth noting. The folding is counter-intuitive and takes a little getting used to. Carry bag is just a dust cover, really (the actual handles are on the chair). None of these issues is enough to dock a star from the rating though.

We received our Cascade 5 Chairs promptly from CAOS. They are very comfortable and light enough to carry to/from Happy Hour whilst caravanning.Highly recommend CAOS and the Cascade Chairs.

Nice high back for the taller person. Padding keeps your back warm and different seat angles works well for eating through relaxing around the fire. Folds relatively flat but is a bulky package. Cover that comes with it is it’s weak point. Bit flimsy.

Just finished a 2 week trip moving and setting up camp every day. These are light enough to store up in the roof pod, easy to get in and out. They do everything from sitting at the table for a meal to kicking back around the fire. Always comfortable.Folding them out and back is weird and it took almost the entire 2 weeks to get used to it but they do fold pretty flat, eventually.The stubbie holder kept falling off every time it gets folded up so it went in the recycling but the glass holder is useful and folds out of the way.As for Snowys? 5 stars as always. (my favorite camping shop)
Our chairs arrived exceptionally quickly and were very well packaged! Just a few points to note:… 1. The cup holders are pretty useless. Both were squashed in transit. I thought sitting them in near-boiling water would get them back into shape, but this was only partially successful. Even so, where the holders clip onto the chair frame is directly below the arm rest - so getting a cup out without spilling the contents is a challenge. Oh well, I probably wouldn’t use it much anyway. As an added (unadvertised) bonus, there is also a little wine glass holder that swivels out from under the corner of the seat. That might get more use ;-) 2. Weight was an important factor in choosing these chairs. They actually weigh 5.1kg rather than the advertised 4.7kg. The chairs feel very sturdy, so I can overlook the extra weight. 3. The seat cover of one chair is a bit tight. When you lean forward or stand up, the seat back moves forward one or two ‘clicks’ meaning the back angle needs to be constantly adjusted. I suspect (hope) this will resolve itself as the chair wears in. Despite these negatives, we are happy with the chairs (and very happy with Snowy’s great price/service) so would probably buy them again.
Did everything it should, held up well and so much better for my back than the camp chairs we had. Flat seat surface and firm back made all the difference. Padding just right.
Love this chair. Meant to order the Resort 5 as I already have one, but ordered this one by mistake. Resort 5 is a good chair but the Cascade 5 is even better. More padded so more comfortable and the carry cover was an added bonus.
Very happy with this chair. It’s very comfortable and has a glass holder for a glass of bubbly. What more could you want. Cheers Lesley

Nice quality chairs and lightweight.Have been traveling with them for 6 weeks now and still having trouble opening & closing them. Maybe in time this will become easier?
