The canopy is nice and sturdy. It’s a shame that when buying the canopy separately it is slightly different to the one that comes in a complete gazebo. The replacement canopy version doesn’t have any middle straps stitched onto it to enable you to keep the ridge lines stiff. This results in the canopy flapping around a bit more than normal in wind and I suspect will allow sagging in rain. Time will tell.

We decided to upgrade to the commercial top. First thing we noticed was no middle straps installed. The gazebo lost its strength against the wind, always pulling sideways in 20-30km winds. Screws constantly coming loose in the frame (requiring tensioning everyday). When the canopy began to develop scuff marks from dragging on the frame I contacted Oztrail and sent photos explaining the issue. They showed concern initially and eventually ignored my replies. The canopy is nice and sturdy. It’s a shame that when buying the canopy separately it is slightly different to the one that comes in a complete gazebo. The replacement canopy version doesn’t have any middle straps stitched onto it to enable you to keep the ridge lines stiff. I have always owned Oztrail gazebos and been happy until I upgraded to a Deluxe Commercial canopy roof and frame to suit. Not even two years old and the roof is perishing. Rain drops coming through all over on closer inspection.
Very disappointed with the quality of theproduct as a replacement canopy. Obvious fold marks indicating that it had been in storage for a long period of time. Leaked from new first time it rained. For the price paid it was a poor quality product.
I bought a Oztrail commercial canopy 4.5 and it leaked like a sieve and rang the place I purchased it from and they were very helpful and replaced it but when I put it up and when it rained the replacement one also leaked a lot maybe not quite as bad as the original one did.In my opinion they are not as good as the deluxe canopy that are cheaper.
18 months after first being erected, a 100+ km/hr gust came through and 'exploded' the previous canopy. It literally stretched until it burst due to the 'lift' created - I was thankful I had anchored the frame adequately - had I not, the whole shebang could have ended up in someone else's backyard.Having confirmed that just the canopy was available, I ordered it the same day. Within a few weeks the new canopy arrived. With the aid of a soft bristled broom, I erected the new canopy on the existing frame in about 20 minutes. Easy as.Lighter, brighter, whiter; of course it too will get dimmer over time - it is in the weather permanently.
I have been doing markets for many years an have always bought my replacement gazebo canopy as just the standard one. Now I have gone to a commercial deluxe canopy I'll never buy the cheaper one again. This is a top quality product
Previous old Deluxe Canopy had worn out. Read the reviews for the Commercial, ordered online arrived 3 days later from Qld to Central Coast, NSW. Really happy with it, almost weather proof, heavy showering and a little sprinkling of water came through. Looks like it will last a long time.

It was quite a large market with many Oztrail gazebos, all the stall holders with older Deluxe canopies has no probs at all ..but every single stall holder who had one of these newer Commercial canopies had the same issue with water coming through the fabric like I did. I am so disappointed with Oztrail, the quality is slipping so badly and I give up on them and will be replacing my Oztrail gazebos with another brand.
