It's pretty incredible! Amazing size, aesthetically pleasing. Really easy to put up and down, take about 10 minutes. No issue with tent poles and we've had it in strong winds. Now our specific tent had tiny burn holes in the fly as if someone has poked it 10 times in different spots with an insence? The dew leaked through in the morning quite a bit, hate to see how it holds up with rain

Purchased last week after realising our old faithful was mouldy. It's not a lightweight tent at12 odd kilos, but it packs in well. We opened her up for the first time, pegged it out, followed the handy colour coded poles to corresponding tent attachment points and it was up in about 5 minutes 😀 There's heaps of headroom in each section, and lots of handy pockets and access zips in each section for leads. Vents low down and up high help with airflow and the darkening in the fly is perfect for cooling and most importantly Mums sleep in!!it took a lot of wind one of the nights without a worry. With the real test being the hurried Sunday morning pack down, she stood the test. Unclipped and flat in 5, cleaned and rolled and back in the bag in another 5...and it fit ... MorePurchased last week after realising our old faithful was mouldy. It's not a lightweight tent at12 odd kilos, but it packs in well. This is a great level entry tent. The size is fantastic and accommodated a family of four with all peripherals comfortably.I would definitely recommend it for any starter family or group of friends. But, as with everything, you get what you pay for:- the poles are quite average, and will bend, and eventually snap- the mesh will begin to sag after several uses- the pegs are quite small - had to every day or 2 go around and make sure the pegs were still holding down- the set up and pack down time is a lot more than 15min - i would say 1hr- you need a ground cover to prevent moisture building up underneath, especially during pack down, to avoid unpacking when you get home- you will feel all the wind flapping all the time, this is not a quiet tent- i ... MoreThis is a great level entry tent. The size is fantastic and accommodated a family of four with all peripherals comfortably.I would definitely recommend it for any starter family or group of friends. But, as with everything, you get what you pay for:- the poles are quite average, and will bend, and eventually snap- the mesh will begin to sag after several uses- the pegs are quite small - had to every day or 2 go around and make sure the pegs were still holding down- the set up and pack down time is a lot more than 15min - i would say 1hr- you need a ground cover to prevent moisture building up underneath, especially during pack down, to avoid unpacking when you get home- you will feel all the wind flapping all the time, this is not a quiet tent- i never managed to get the tent back into the original bag, and had to buy a separate bag for itWe upgraded after several trips to a black wolf tent and the difference is phenomenal. The set up and down time is less than half, with two people, the pegs, accessories, panels, ground cover, all work seamlessly - but, it is comparatively significantly more expensive.

Easy tent to set up.We were a family of five crossing the Great Central Road and it was perfect. My husband could set up with my 6 yo son. We had used either end as rooms and the middle as a communal area (family time with games) as it would get quite cold at night. We were able to fit our travel porta cot in one room.Only downside is pegs would bend quite easily but they can be replaced or buy thicker ones for the hard/dirt ground. Also would have been nice if the bag was slightly bigger. But this worked for us as we were right with space in our 4x4.
There was alot of mixed reviews about this tent but as a first time camper at the time it was great during the beginning of winter. Very spacious , easy set up. I've used it twice now since I purchased it. I did have to buy new pegs as the original pegs were weak and bent easily. And the awning doesn't really do much as you can't sit right under it without being in the way of the entry of the tent. Other then that happy with the purchase.
We used this tent for a family of 5 for an 8 night stay. It was easy to put up and take down and was nice and roomy with the kids sleeping in one room, us in another and a family space in the middle. Even my 6ft husband could stand inside the main room. It survived our three young children for the week and we didn't have any problems from the heavy rains or moderate winds we experienced. The mesh inner layer helped to keep the tent breathable. The only complaint I have is that the tent pegs bent easily when hitting rocks and such so we will be buying sturdier pegs to use in future.
i bought this tent for our first camping trip thinking i was getting a good deal as it was on sale. A freak gust of wind came through and snapped the two main fiberglass poles within 1 hr of setup... we still had 4 days to go in this tent so had to use gorilla tape and make splints for the poles from tent pegs to ensure it stays upright during our trip. I have since taken it back to anaconda and got a full refund. I guess it pays to read reviews BEFORE buying and not just buy something so crucial on the spot.
I bought this tent after reading some of the reviews, wish i had of kept reading them. Would have saved the headache that came with it. It lasted 24 hours before a little but of wind snapped a pole. Our $40 and $60 Big W tents that were along side of this were completely fine. Would be a great tent if theres no chance of wind, it did fine in the late night rain.If you do purchase and a pole snaps, hope you have an easier time getting a refund than i did because the warranty doesn't cover poles snapping in the wind, as i was told. Even though it's a common problem with this tent.
The oztrail tent was a great buy. I bought it online and was delivered very quickly. It was easy to setup. It is quite spacious inside. We fit 2 single blow up matresses in one section and a queen blow up mattress in the other. It was great during the rain, no leakages. Only thing is that you need to tarp poles and extra rope for the awning as it's not imcluded.
I purchased the oztrail 9P tent. We finally had our first camping trip and, on day 2, it’s decided to rain. We have discovered holes in the outer cover. It seems to be leaking water through the seam/stitching. Because we are still camping my husband has had to patch the holes so we don’t get wet. I am not impressed as this is something I would have expected if I had purchased it secondhand but I bought the tent brand new from your store.
