I purchased the ultramesh tarp following a recommendation by the Anaconda staff member who assisted me. I was just going to use a normal tarp and he talked me out of it. I'm so glad he did! It lashed with rain for a couple of days on the trip, and where I had normal tarps on the ground at our camp site, the water pooled and it was a muddy mess. The ultramesh tarp allowed all water to drain away and kept those areas much cleaner. They're easy to hose off and pack away into the carry bag. I'll definitely take these tarps again each time I go camping.

I purchased the smallest size to use at the front of a 3 man tent. The first time I used it the ground was muddy and wet, but worked well in keeping the tent a lot cleaner. It did did pick up a bit of dirt over the weekend, but was easy to hose off at home with a hose against the fence

Perfect for a shade cloth. It is very well made and strong with good edging. The eyelets will also come in useful if it needs tying down. Highly recommend this product. Amazing for the price and Anaconda we're very helpful too.

I have always used traditional tarps as groundsheets in the past. The ultramesh is so much better, allowing sand and moisture to fall through keeping our camping space feeling tidier and I can walk around barefoot more comfortably. We’ve only used it twice so far but it feels strong and good quality.
Have these in various sizes.. depending on the size of the tent. Saved me in heavy rain, preventing water pooling on the floor. Don't bother with solid tarps, they trap water. Saved the floor of the tent.. after realising I'd missed a few rocks and sticks after set up. In summer they line the inside of the ancient laser lighting on the pergola.. and hung 8x8ft outside house windows in crazy heat. Not pretty but they work :) I'd recommend getting a longer length for tents to extend under the awning/vestibule. Cheers
Haven't used it yet but have opened out. Comes in a sturdy carry bag made from same mesh. Eyelets and stitching look sturdy. But weve been using oztrail canvas tents and products for over 20 years and know it's always top quality and lasts. Can't wait to use it.
We used the Ultramesh flooring under our tent and as a new floor in the sunroom of our Diamontina Rivierra canvas tent. We were really happy with it... I cut slits in the flooring so that the flaps of the sunroom wall could slip in under the flooring and it worked great. MUCH easier to keep clean than the tarp flooring we had that didn't connect well to the walls. I used a weatherproof gaff tape to stop the mesh fraying where I cut it and that seems to have worked well too. One of the corner eyelets was starting to fail after 2 weeks being pegged out. But overall happy.
Have been using it for about three weeks. So far it’s fantastic easy to clean as well. Not having dirt and tiny pebbles come into the van is great. I have a tiny van so perfect size for me.
This is definitely worth the investment. It helps keep the area around your tent a little cleaner and definitely protects the floor from stones or, in my case, a chunk of concrete that i parked my tent on. I just stabbed the tent poles straight through the mesh to hold it in place - fairly sure thats not recommended but it seemed to take it quite well, and did not fray or anything
I bought this over two years ago for a 5 week WA / Kimberley road trip, based on the reviews it had. Best. Purchase. Ever. It was a hot dusty trip, and this tarp performed exactly as hoped in the red Kimberley dust, the red Pilbara dust, on muddy river banks, on rocky and scrubby surfaces...just fantastic. Water and dust just disappear through it and many camping trips later it's still going strong. It's the first thing out whenever we camp and the last packed. Keeps us dry and clean(ish). Brilliant. A big thanks to all the other reviewers who helped me make the decision.
