It comes as Eau de Toilette in an interesting and appealing black and purple bottle adorned with a beautiful rose. It is accompanied with matching products.Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house founded in 1966. Francisco "Paco" Rabaneda Cuervo, the Spanish-born fashion designer more widely known as Paco Rabanne, fled Spain with his family during the Spanish Civil War. Growing up in Paris, he is an architect by training, but he started his fashion career designing jewelry for other houses before trying his hand at clothing design. He quickly became known for his eclectic fashions featuring unconventional materials such as metal and paper. The house's first perfume is the now-legendary women's scent Calandre, introduced in 1969. A series of innovative fragrances in distinctive bottles for both men and women have followed. Paco Rabanne fashions and fragrances are produced in conjunction with Puig.

I'm so happy I've discovered this company - Fragrance Direct. This was my second purchase and once again the package was mailed out right away, the parfum very well packed and traced. I also got emails informing me when the delivery will take place by Royal Mail. What more can you ask for. And this parfum is simply breath taking, so sophisticated and rich, I feel like a million dollars. Thank you.

Do not order this as you will not receive the legitimate item. I received mine in a cardboard box instead of a velvet covered one. There is no gold rim on the bottle and the logo is missing in the lid of bottle. I reported it to customer service and they are denying it's fake despite the photographic evidence I sent them!Do not purchase, it is not authentic Paco Rabanne Pure XS, just a very poor imitation despite them showing correct bottle on their site. The real perfume :-1. Comes in dusty pink velvet box2. Has gold around the base of perfume lid / and gold spray head3. Has Iconic logo when you hold bottle lid towards the lightVery disappointed that a brand as big as this could sell such things to make a buck... then have the cheek to pretend it came ... This is how far behind I am Paco Rabanne has already got Olympa Aqua on the perfume counters, and Im just getting around to reviewing the original Olympa. Ive actually had the sample for a bit, but its mostly just sat there, waiting while I reviewed other, more likely candidates. The folks over at Paco Rabanne have done a great job of keeping the brand relevant with the youth market, but have not shown much interest, so far, with the notyouth market, which of course includes me, and partly explains why the lack of interest is pretty much mutual. I did review Black XS For Her way back in 2007 but I skipped Lady Million altogether. Kevin, however, gamely reviewed Invictus ugly, he said, and I wholeheartedly concur, so here I go1with Olympa, the fragrance for the ... I did review Black XS For Her way back in 2007 but I skipped Lady Million altogether. Kevin, however, gamely reviewed Invictus ugly, he said, and I wholeheartedly concur, so here I go1with Olympa, the fragrance for the modern day Cleopatra. As is so often the case with these big designer launches, it took a team of big name perfumers Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion to put it together. Its advertised as a fresh oriental and as a a unique fusion between a sensual salted vanilla accord and refreshing floral notes,2 and thats all reasonably accurate. Olympa starts with a very juicy, very green citrus overlaid with a decent lashing of ginger. It announces its fresh orientation right out of the gate, with vague allusions to Glade and LEau dIssey, but its otherwise a nice enough start. It sweetens up as the top notes fade, with candied but watery floral notes and then creamy vanilla over a woody musk with salty solar undertones. It has a summery, almostbeachy feel neither caramel popcorn nor coconut are listed in the notes, but there are faint strains of either or both, and theres just enough powder to lend a velvety finish to the far dry down. Verdict Its just fine. Its reasonably wearable and reasonably pleasant if applied in moderation despite the fresh and watery notes, it is not really a sheer scent. Not surprisingly, I found it both too sweet and too synthetically fresh for my taste, and in general, it called up modern youth on spring break more than Cleopatra. Still, not bad, and a far cry better than Invictus. If you want something along the same lines, but maybe a little more sophisticated, you might try Calvin Klein Reveal. If you want more fruit and less fresh, you might try Thierry Mugler Womanity. Paco Rabanne Olympa is available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products. I think there was originally an Extrait as well, but perhaps it is already sold out The notes include mandarin, ginger lily, aquatic accord, jasmine, vanilla, cashmere wood, sandalwood and ambergris.

This is one of my favourite everyday perfumes to wear. I discovered it when I was working in a beauty salon and one of the girls that I was working with walked past me and there was this gorgeous fresh scent lingering wherever she had been. Its the perfect soft, powdery fragrance, with base notes of sandalwood, cashmere and ambergris, a heart of salted vanilla which is the strongest part in my opinion and top notes of mandarin, ginger and jasmine. It can be sickly sweet if too much is sprayed, and they released Olympa Intense which I also tried the smell is the same scent but stronger, and it lasts longer, and the packaging is the same as the original but is more of a bronze colour as opposed to the rose gold of the original, but I found the Intense version too ... I prefer perfume to be subtle but noticeable rather than to announce itself as soon as you walk into a room, and I spray perfume behind my ears into my hair so when Im outside and the wind picks up my hair people catch the scent I am wearing. Also, when I worked at John Lewis, me and the girls from Dior did a natural scent test with the Jadore Touche De Parfum this involved rubbing the Touche oil on our wrists and spraying Jadore on the oil. This would either smell like jasmine, vanilla or a third scent that I cant remember and this would be your bodys natural scent and would indicate which perfumes suit you best mine being jasmine so I am better suited to perfumes with notes of jasmine such as this one and Thierry Muglers Alien review to come. I highly recommend this lovely perfume and it is one I will keep buying
