After searching on Amazon for a compact, minimalist wallet, that has a pocket for change, I could not find a decent wallet.Then I went on MEC website because I was curious, and decided to go to the store to check this wallet out in person - and it was perfect.+ Made of high quality fabric.+ Has a pocket for change in the back+ Has 5 separate card holders+ a place for cash+ Other features like a key ring and a hand wrist tie+ Size is compact and comfortable to slide into either my pocket or my money belt with no problems.MEC honestly carries AWESOME stuff for travel. I need to remember to check here first, and support a store like MEC.

This is about the third time I've purchased one of these wallets from REI. I wore out the last two but compared to expensive leather wallets I don't mind the replacement cost when they wear out. So, one of these lasts me a year or two. They are very lightweight, fold and zip closed and are just large enough to carry a small number of bills, medical cards, my licenses - driving, fishing, and so forth. I hardly feel it in my pocket. It caries in any pocket. Good item, good purchase, recommended.

Excellent wallet except for one problem that probably only I have. The outside material is slippery and I found out that I can not put it in my back pocket if my pants don't have a button. It's no big deal, but on two occasions I reached back for my wallet and it was half-way out. That would be easy pickins' for a pickpocket. It does come with a strap and snap, but I don't care to go to that extreme. I just put the wallet in one of my front pockets. Other than that little issue, I love this thing. It's worthy of five stars for most users I'm sure.

I'm a fan of Pacsafe, so I bought this little billfold. I an used to a thick tri-fold that is full of all receipts rather than very much money. This billfold will not allow anything but cards, cash, ID, and maybe a door key. Perfect to get me to keep my billfold clean and more comfortable when I'm seated. In fact, I can't tell if it's even in my pocket unless I feel for it. Exactly what I needed, and I like the elastic band that keeps it shut.
I bought this wallet to replace a little Chum I have been using. It is just a little bigger than my Chum. Carry’s enough credit cards 💳 & cash for daily use rather than carry a big purse around with way too much stuff. Caveat is the it does not zip up but rather has an elastic band to hole it together folded. I am sure that the elastic band will not last too long.
I’ve owned one for three years — I’m a wildlife photographer who travels to some pretty inhospitable places. The durability and security this wallet provides is unparalleled. It’s so good that when my teenaged son asked for a wallet (his first) for Christmas, this is what I gave him . . . and he loves it! With plenty of well-designed “nooks and crannies” for credit cards, stashing “emergency” money, a see through window for I’d/driver’s license, in a compact, pocket-friendly package, this is the best “adventure” wallet I’ve ever owned. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

There are enough sleeves for several cards.But there is one thing that worries me. This wallet is held tight by wrapping a piece of elastic along the length. I'm not confident that this elastic will last very long. If the elastic starts stretching over some time, the wallet is not worth even one star and I don't know how it would be possible to remediate the problem. They should have designed this with a velcro closure of some sort if not a zipper around the wallet. The current closure makes no sense. I didn't return it because I needed a wallet. I gave it 3 stars because of this potential problem. (The elastic is very flimsy). Otherwise I like the wallet.
I have written a review before this one, but I need to add a few comments and change my rating. My previous rating wasn't very high because the cards were extremely difficult to extract from the slots. It was so bad that the wallet started tearing at one place. I returned the wallet to the closest store and tried another one there. They happened to have it in the store. To my surprise the new wallet (same pacsafe) didn't exhibit the same tight slots for the cards. I'm glad I returned the one I previously bought because it was obviously defective; either that or they fixed the problem (reported by others) on their next batch! In ay case, I like the wallet now and don't expect any problems.
I bought this wallet to replace my older Pacsafe RFID WALLET which had seen better days..my old one had room for my passport and this one is too small to get it into one of the compartments..everything I read said it would fit a passport, but it does not. Not to worry, I have an RFID purse with bigger compartments which solves the problem for travel...besides you don’t always need to pull out your passport when traveling.. I decided that the smaller size was more important than a compartment for a passport..I thought I would not like the zipper but it is very smooth and works really well..I especially love the gusseted coin slot which my old wallet did not have making it very hard to get at coins without dumping the whole thing into your hand. I always clean out my wallet before travel so I am not carrying anything unnecessary that could be lost, I.e. things I couldn’t use anyway, like store credit cards and the like...so this is the perfect size for me! And I like this wallet so much I actually use it at home! I like the contrasting lighter color on the inside, and you can even put a pen in the center if you find a collapsible type..my only improvement would be a tab to hold a pen... haven’t used the wristlet thing yet..I unhooked mineOverall I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
I’ve been traveling for over a year through many countries and this wallet checks all the boxes. It has two slots for currency and just enough credit card slots. The coin purse is useful as well. Its slim size allows carry in my sling body bag or I can easily slip it into my zippered pants pocket. Really appreciate the elastic strap rather than Velcro closures. I can’t stand the annoying Velcro tearing sound for all to hear. It doesn’t draw attention when having my wallet exposed. Please never stop making this wallet!
