Amazing product

My 3 year boy is at a very fussy eating stage at the moment, my older son was able to overcome this stage very easily but my youngest is not giving in so easily! I get so worried that he is not getting enough nutrients and vitamins as he won’t eat many fruit or vegetables. I was sent the shakes to try and as soon as my son saw them he was excited to try... I had a little taste and they taste just like chocolate milkshake ( I can’t taste anything strange like some vitamin products ) as per recommended I limited him to one a day but he was desperate to have one each morning after breakfast. I will most likely buy again as I feel giving these to my son instead of a sugar filled milk shake is much better for him plus all the extra vitamins.

Good supplement for fussy eaters.

Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I do however keep a few bottles of this in the cupboard anyway to cover days when my toddler is being fussy. She prefers the chocolate flavour to the vanilla but will drink both flavours. I agree with other reviews that the portion is large, and also the lumpy residue in the bottom of the bottle doesnt mix properly even when you shake it well, as instructed. I will continue to buy as its a convenient way to cover nutrition when little people are being fussy!

We were sent these to try and my daughter did drink it but not all of it, I think theyre far too sweet and have a strong sweetener aftertaste. The packaging is nice, the smell and taste are odd lol.Id rather just give her a real milkshake as an occasional treat! She eats alot of fruit and veg already, I think its best to get their vitamins that way. They also seem rather overpriced considering you can just get some multivitamin tablets if you need to.Not for us im afraid!

Not just for kids

I'Äôm reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. I found these to taste like vanilla milkshakes whilst having the added boost of including various vitamins and minerals. I can imagine kids would enjoy these but they are a tad pricey for what you get!

Not sure on Paediasure

I received this product to try with my kids. My fussy eater who could really do with building up and some extra vits was keen to try. He liked the bottle and enjoyed pouring some into a glass to try. He probably drank about 5 small sips and then decided he didn’t like it. I made sure it had been refrigerated to make it more appealing. His elder brother who eats like a horse was given the remaining contents on the bottle to drink from a glass. He said he liked it but couldn’t finish the whole bottle in one go.I tried it and I have to say it was a nice dark chocolate flavour, quite thick and definitely had the texture of uHt milk over fresh if you catch my drift. The overall aftertaste flavour though was of soya milk so I do understand why my youngest wasn’t keen. I ... MoreI received this product to try with my kids. I do like the idea, if you can convince a fussy eater to consume in the first place!

Revolting!!
3 August 2020

There is nothing good about this. The packaging isnt appealing looks medicinal and hospital like. The flavour is very artificial and like a runny ice cream but chemically sweet tasting. My 7 year old pulled the strangest face ever seen when she tried it, our 3 year old thought is tasted yucky. When tried ourselves it was terrible....! And worse bit unless you ****REALLY**** shake it up there is a sludge of disgustingness lurking at the bottom! Avoid!

Taste like FortiSip
27 August 2020

A very clinical/medical feel about these. For children I'd expect some more joyous packaging.Marked up for having such a wide range of vitamins. My children were confused and thought they were having medicine when I offered them the bottle, neither liked the taste. My nieces didn't want more than a sip either.I tried it and it is passable but tasted just like FortiSip build up milkshakes so slightly off putting. The bottles were a lot bigger than expected too, quite a lot for a child to drink as they're so heavy and filling.

Tasty option
1 September 2020

These shakes come in a convenient 200ml bottle which was just the right size for my children to drink in one go. My 7 year old really liked the taste and thought it was a treat to have, my 10 year old didn't like the taste, said it wasn't smooth enough. It is a very handy concept for those of us that have fussy eaters, small eaters and sensory children - a quick "milkshake" and they have had a bunch of nutrients. I also enjoyed the flavour, handy as a post-exercise drink. We preferred drinking them straight from the fridge too. Shame the price tag is quite high for a small quantity.

Took some convincing
9 September 2020

My daughters (6&9) opted for the vanilla but kept saying it looks like medicine, they were referring to the packaging which to be honest along with the name does suggest a hint more to a medicine than a healthy meal supplement. Once we overcame that hurdle came the taste test and unfortunately neither of my girls particularly liked the taste either so I decided to finish what they left. It wasn’t unpleasant and had a slightly oaty flavour over vanilla but I certainly wouldn’t rush to buy these. They’re are expensive and could prove a costly mistake for a fussy eater.

brilliant for low weight restrictive eater
7 June 2023

I put these in my child's packed lunch for school to boost their calories as they are a restrictive eater (ARFID possibly?) and barely eats anything at lunchtime...he enjoys this and it's filling so even though people say it's got a long list of ingredients - it's better my child has something rather than nothing. They have gained a bit if weight too which was the goal.I can understand why parents might not want to buy this, but it's a specialist product aimed at weight gain and nutrition where it can't be gained through a balanced diet.
