I honestly feel that I've been 'had' buying this chair. I feel like it's made like it is on purpose, so that people get sick of this uncomfortable chair, and then buy another one, and this means that the manufacturer and the retailer increase their sales. What's bad? The most important thing on the chair, more important than anything else. THE BACKREST. What a horrendous shape. At any given point, only a small portion of your back is touching the backrest because of the ridiculous 'C' shape curve they have given it (no human has a back shaped like this whilst sitting upright with a neutral spine). Presumably this has been done in the name of 'design' and pseudo ergonomics. I mean, why even have the top half? The backrest could be half the size, and it would be the ... MoreI honestly feel that I've been 'had' buying this chair. The backrest could be half the size, and it would be the same outcome for the person sitting on it. This chair is a great example of form over function. The result? Back pain, discomfort, can't sit on it for long, no matter how you sit, it doesn't quite feel like you can just relax your back, you feel like getting up and walking around multiple times in an hour. How this chair has a rating of 8 hours is beyond me. It is not possible to 'rest', 'relax' etc. in this chair, your back has to be constantly engaged like it's an exercise machine. Also, although this one is not relevant for me, because I'm a medium tall male, it is a big chair. In the advert (you YouTube) they show this little lady sitting on it, but in reality, even when the chair is at its lowest height, many people (men and women), wouldn't have their feet flat on the floor, with the knees at 90 degrees.I bought the handles for the chair as well, and I really feel like it's been a waste, and I feel I should have returned this chair within the first 48 hours of sitting on it, it's so bad. I regret not doing so.Is the chair well built? Yes.Is the quality good? Yes.But what's the point in all of that when it gives you lower backpain? When the design flawed. If Pago/Ryman are reading this, I would be happy to exchange this one, with the Pago Matrix II Plus Ergonomic Three Lever Operator Chair, at least the back looks more comfortable.

I purchased this chair as I am working from home supporting primary school students remotely. As I am quite a short person I feel the base of the chair is too long and my knees don’t reach the end of the base when sitting. No matter what adjustment I make I am unable to feel comfortable sitting in the chair. I am now experiencing constant back ache . I am disappointed because my first choice was the Washington but due to the great reviews of the Pago professional I made the purchase. This chair was purchased as a click and collect item as I was unable to visit the store and try before buying. I am really disappointed. I don’t feel it’s the chair itself it’s just not right for me due to the large base.

I purchased a Pago in 2019 and needed to get it replaced under warranty by Officeworks in 2020 due the padding in the seat base becoming very hard and collapsing. When Covid hit and i started working from home i was lucky enough for work to set-up my home office. told them what i needed including a new office chair with the spec height not an issue as im 6'4 but need to be high weight rating as in the 110kg range. My fault i didn't tell them not to get this Pago seat and they did.Called Officeworks today asking if i could bring this back for warranty replacement and change brands and they said no must be like for like.Off to the tip with this one and looking for another brand.

I've had this chair for a few weeks now; I bought it to replace a very elderly office chair which was no longer suitable. I have arthritis, and struggle with sitting for periods of time due to knee and hip pain (also sciatica!). This chair is fab - lovely big seat for my big bum and quite thick too - lots of padding!! The mesh back is cool, and the ability to alter the height is fab because I'm quite tall. It feels good and strong - I move around the room on it quite a bit and so far there are no creaks or squeaks or wobbles. I also think it's pretty good value; my work bought me a new chair just before lockdown which was way more than this one!!!
The enduro mesh feels quite comfortable when first sitting down (which is why I bought it), mostly thanks to the ample cushion. However my longer term experience with the chair hasn't been as positive. I have started to develop lower back pain since using this chair, to the point where sitting longer than 30 minutes would leave me with significant discomfort that would linger long after I stood up. I have tried adjusting the chair in every configuration I could think of, but it didn't seem to help. I believe the issue (at least on my chair) is that the mesh back fabric is actually quite loose and can be pressed back a fair way before it starts becoming resistant, especially around the lumbar region. I have tried adjusting the chair in every configuration I could think of, but it didn't seem to help. I believe the issue (at least on my chair) is that the mesh back fabric is actually quite loose and can be pressed back a fair way before it starts becoming resistant, especially around the lumbar region. So what I've found is my upper body is supported quite firmly (as my shoulders are basically resting on the back frame), but my lower back is left to support itself and eventually slump, as the back mesh just doesn't provide enough resistance to be supportive. I think being able to adjust seat depth might be helpful in this scenario, but that's one of the few adjustments this chair doesn't offer. It's hard to tell if my chair is defective or representative of all, but regardless, I've had to stop using it after just a month to due to the discomfort, which is very disappointing for the price of the chair. I reached out to Officeworks to see if they could assist in any way, but unfortunately they didn't seem too interested in helping out.
I have had this chair for approximately 2.5 years and it gets used at a moderate level. Lately, the seat will just drop when I first sit on it, which requires an adjustment each time. It's becoming annoying as I have to constantly adjust the level I previously set it at. It's marketed as "heavy duty" and comes with a 10-year warranty. I will need to return to Officeworks and consider another chair.
We bought this chair for my daughter about a month ago and it's a great chair. It's very sturdy and has all the adjustability that makes it really comfortable. It was also a great price. The only downside is that we wanted to purchase the arms. The was a link when Googling the set of arms that took you back to the Ryman website and it simply said out of stock. I emailed Rymans to ask when they would be back in stock and they said they are discontinued. I emailed Pago, an Australian based company, to ask if we could purchase them in the UK and they said no, Rymans were the only stockist and they had not placed an order to restock. So we can't get the arms. Very, very frustrating!
Being in the market for a new ergonomic chair, I conducted some online research and tested every available chair in-store at Officeworks before deciding to purchase the Enduro Mesh due to its initial comfort and apparent as value for money.Initially I enjoyed the comfort of this chair, with my experience aligning with the positive reviews outlined here. It continued to the point in which no support was being provided to my lower back, hence resulting in daily lower back pain.I've tried countless different configurations to ensure that it was not an issue with the seat positioning. However, It is the inability of the mesh to provide support that has rendered this chair unusable. In short, this may be an instance of a defective chair, however when compared to range of previous chairs I've used (J. Burrows, Humanscale, Herman Miller), I would most definitely avoid this chair and invest is a chair with higher quality mesh that maintains it's support over time.
The top section of the back rest curves backwards too much providing no support. Other chairs curve back much less or in fact curve forwards a little to provide support. I am 187cm tall and I was unable to find any combination of height or tilt that would compensate for the curvature of the backrest. Why have a high backrest if the top section of the backrest provides no support. Apart from the backrest the chair is very well built.
The seat is extremely comfy, which is why I got it, but the back rest is so awkwardly shaped. It presses into your just your lower back then bends back so far it doesn't touch your upper back. It's not even nice on your lower back because of how it bends your spine. To actually use the upper back support of the chair you have to bend your spine backwards in a ridiculous position. I don't understand who this design is for. I'm only 6ft so not particularly tall, and both my shorter partner and taller friend have tried it and agree. Just a hour or two of use hurts my back, even a cheapo chair is better.
