Let me start off with I’m not crazy about the smell of cocoa butter so I was a little iffy but with regular use of biotin products my hair has grown dramatically so I was excited to try this Length Retention Leave in Conditioner. This has thee most pleasant smell - it smells like summer! The consistency leaves my curls in place down my back with the softest bounce. My hair was so easy to detangle with this. I can definitely see it smoothing the split ends and hydrating where breakage would occur. It didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy - I’d consider it to be lightweight enough for daily use. I love that it’s silicon free. If length is your goal or you want to maintain it I’d definitely suggest this product.

Can I obsess over the smell for a moment? Amazing! It was the first thing that literally blew my mind! It’s a mix of cocoa butter (obviously) and this amazing smell that I’ve never been able to pinpoint in some hair products but reminds me of a great smelling man! Lol. Let’s move on. The product is super creamy but it doesn’t leave your hair feeling gunky or heavy. It’s super lightweight and left my hair shiny and the curls so defined! My hair already looks and feels healthier after just one use! I have naturally curly hair but I always straighten it because my curls won’t stay intact once it dries. Well it’s dry now and looks great! Definitely a product I can continue to buy and a great price too! And again, the smell!!! 😍

I really loved the smell (I had Covid in Feb and it really messed up my smelling abilities) but even with getting Covid, this is still great smelling that I can smell it throughout the day when I move my head/hair. This really helped my hair maintain its curls without leaving my hair feeling heavy, limp or leaving any residue. It also helped a lot with keeping my frizzi-ness down. Sometimes it gets really humid in SD but for the most part it did really well. I really am glad tht I was sent this bc im pretty picky when it comes to my hair but i really liked this. The only 'bad' part was that the foil/thick paper thats supposed to be like a tamper sticker, the thing that prevents spilling is stuck against the lid so i have to take the lid off and squirt it into my hand but its really just a small inconvenience.

If I'm honest I want expecting much when I got this in a Voxbox. I mean I didn't know anything Palmers made other than cocobutter and nipple cream. But I tried it replacing my usual wash day favorites and was very pleasantly surprised. First off, the hydration was phenomenal I could feel the difference. But even better than that I could see the difference. My coils were beautiful and defined. I had used their conditioner and hair oil right before also which are also great in their own right. I ran my tangle teazer brush through my hair with ease. My hair was hydrated, detangled, and glorious. I'm definitely buying this when my sample is finished.
