This was sent to me by ocado to review and being a fan of Aperol and grapefruit I was more than happy to oblige. It is slightly less bitter than Aperol and has a wonderful citrusy flavour. Delicious on its own and mixed (I tried the spritz recipe on the back). Looking forward to sipping this over the Summer months!

Tried with prosecco and soda, and again with tonic. Both were lovely. As others have said the taste of grapefruit would complement a G&T well too. Cant wait to drink this as an aperitif on a warm summer evening! (Fingers crossed for a decent British summer!)

Nice mixer, I tried it with Rose and Prosecco and although nice, I prefer my wine straight. I was, however, pleasantly surprised mixing it with tonic, ice and a slice of grapefruit. I can see this as being a nice alternative to Pimms in summer and it's at a similar strength, ie 15%. I also found it sweet and bitter.

I am a bit of an alcohol snob. I drink in moderation and only if the alcoholic drink tastes nice. I have a few very good whiskies and liqueurs at home. I am adding this to the list. It is sweet amd definitely nice after dinner or nightime. You can add to good tonic as well. I will buy when I run out.
I was looking forward to trying this. Aroma was unmistakable and on its own, sweet but not unpleasant or artificial. Could really taste the grapefruit. And handy cocktail suggestions on the bottle, both were nice, particularly when mixed with rose wine. A great addition to my cocktail cupboard.
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I'd never heard of this, and to be honest I wouldn't go near it if I saw it on a supermarket shelf. But then I'd be missing out - this is like a pink grapefruit take on limoncello. I've refrained from mixing it with wine or bubbly, like they suggest - seems like a waste, to me - but it's great mixed with tonic water.
Simply the best apperitif out there for a summer Spritz, I have been looking for Aperol alternatives for some times as I find it too sugary and this was receommended to me, the grapefut taste is more suttle and refreshing - Goes very well with Crement de Bourgogne (Sparkling whine from France though not Champagne region) which are less sugary than Procecos or Clairette de Die.
We were sent this to try and review and we REALLY tried it. We tried some of the suggested mixes on the bottle and then kept going from there. A nice fruity taste that can be added to many other drinks, it is a bit on the bitter side so depending on your taste you might like to mix it with a sweeter sparkling wine.
I was sent this to review. I really enjoyed it. The grapefruit taste is strong, but it isn't too bitter. It will make lovely long summer drinks. I will look forward to trying the cocktail suggestions.
A wonderful alternative to Aperol if youre feeling its overdone. A bit sweeter and doesnt have the Aperol nuttiness and bitter aftertaste that people either love or hate. I personally adore Aperol but this is a new fav!
