I bought this after buying the black one a couple of months ago. I loved the black one as it was so comfortable and compared to other nursing bras it looked beautiful too! Despite not having any under-wiring it offers great support and fits me well accounting for my breast size fluctuating up and down during feeds. The reason I’ve not given 5 stars was I was disappointed when I couldn’t find any matching briefs for these bras. Even though I’m a nursing mum I still like to feel good on occasion and matching sets do that! (Instead of the usual big knickers!) I hope this is something Figleaves offer in the future.

Bigger cup sizes please!

I love this bra. I’ve bought it for pregnancy and now for nursing. It’s probably the prettiest nursing bra on the market and comes in 3 nice colours (a 4th pink one I spotted on-line elsewhere). It doesn’t give much separation but I think that’s tricky with a non-wired. It gives a lifted-up shape and has pretty good support so less pressure on your back.My one complaint? The cup size range. My pre-pregnancy size of 32HH would have fitted most bras but am now a 38J and likely to be a 36KK on nursing. It would be great if Panache could make this bra in those bigger cup sizes (say up to a K/ L) as I’m sure there would be a market for them - even if they only did it one colour! The range of nursing bras at the top end of the cup size range is woefully limited.

I have been feeding for 6 weeks so decided it was a good time to get fitted and invest in a good nursing bra. I was fitted in store and was between sizes, originally bought the bigger size 32H to allow some grow room for when my breasts were fuller prior to feeding. I wore the bra out of the store but after wearing for an hour I decided to return it as found it gave me terrible shape and support, I naturally have quite soft wide set boobs that need good support. I reflected that smaller size had felt and looked better so I swapped for the 30GG. Now after a day of wearing the bra I have developed painful blocked milk ducts, I believe from the side panel which is quite tight (in order to give move forward facing shape). Comfortable, practicable and not too granny
11 June 2018

Thanks to pregnancy, now having a 38HH cup, finding non-underwired mat-bras, and more recently nursing bras, has been an absolute nightmare. I live in Australia and any bra I need has to be bought from a ‘special shop’ and are extremely expensive. I therefore just gambled for my nursing bras and ordered online from Fig Leaves in the same cup size as when I was measured pregnant - wish I had just bought these online during my pregnancy and saved the funds rather than ordering separate maternity bras!Non-wired maternity/nursing bras are never going to be the most supportive for someone with a larger bust, but this Panache one does an okay job, and I am happy to wear it out in public under my usual clothing. It’s comfortable, practicable and looks quite pretty when considering the minimal options available in my size. I’ve ordered it in both the cream and black. It’s very comfortable and the clasp is easy to maneuver with one hand when I’m feeding bub. The only issue I find is that I automatically go to lift my boobs up with the straps when I feel a bit saggy (can’t get used to not having wires holding me up) and both clasps instantly pop open very easily meaning I then have to fiddle and get myself strapped up again. The straps could also be a bit thicker as I am desperate to make my boobs nice and high again, but with the thinner straps if I make them too tight, it just means they cut in.All-in-all a good value nursing bra for someone with a larger chest, and I am going to order another couple to have spare (I’m in the nursing bra 24 hours a day so need a few!)

Digs in
8 August 2024

After being measured and fitted, this is the bra I bought.I cannot wear this bra for more than a few hours because it is so so uncomfortable and digs in under my breasts. It's very tight despite the lady saying that it's 'normal'. If it weren't for forcing myself to wear this bra so I can nurse, I would've taken it back already. It's pretty but very uncomfortable about more than 2 hours.

Poor fit
27 November 2021

When I first tried it on, it seemed to fit me really well but within wearing it properly for the first couple of hours, I was overflowing out the front and I feel like the back is starting by to ride up already. (I had the next size up for comparison and that was far too big.) I bought it 3-4 weeks ago when I was 6 weeks post partum. It could be that it's just not that supportive for large boobs or perhaps it's just that breastfeeding has made my body change very quickly. Either way, it's unfortunately now just a bedtime bra for me. It does look beautiful though.

Pretty Functional!
11 May 2016

I was skeptical about getting a nursing bra as I had been lounging around in stretch cami tops for the first 6 months of my babies life, which meant I had totally forgotten what a supportive bra felt like, and I was comfortable, albeit unsupported. I wasn't sure if this was the right time to get fitted but Lucy in the Cheltenham store was really helpful. She did an outstanding job on the fitting front, trying a lovely variety of beautiful bras, both nursing and regular, so I could see what my body was doing. Immediately I appeared to have a waist somewhere under there, once the bra was on! Amazing! As I'm nursing, one side is larger than the other and Lucy did a great job of finding me something that played down that fact, so it all looks pretty even. The Sophie Nursing Bra by Panache is functional, easy to unclip for feeding and quite pretty with the lace detail. I went for the black and cream/gold which I thought could be deemed as a little bit on the sassy side too! ;)

Size completely wrong!!
5 May 2019

I already own several Panache bras at the size I ordered for this bra. They are actually a bit bigger than I need in back and cup since I purchased them while pregnant and they fit great during the pregnancy and after (now). So I purchased two of these confidently thinking they would fit me well as I nursed. So after more than two weeks of waiting for these to ship from the UK and paying $118 for my specialty size that is so difficult to find in stores (36 H) the cup size is horribly small and my breasts ‘bubble over’ when I wear them! (Note that my other panache bras continue to fit perfectly, even though I am nursing). So if you purchase this, buy your regular back size and get a cup size about 2X larger than any Panache bra you own.

Disappointed by this. Always wear panache bras as they are good quality and pretty. Unfortunately this bra was pretty but it is very uncomfortable for the first few weeks of breastfeeding. The band is too firm and there is not enough stretch in the cups compared to other nursing bras I have bought. Perhaps it will become more comfortable as my milk settles down but I definitely wouldn’t recommend for the first few weeks.

Wouldn't buy again
24 December 2021

I previously bought the Bravissimo Nova which was bliss when 12 weeks pregnant. This bra was a stark contrast. Although it says it's cotton lined, only the side panel is cotton, the fold down cup is synthetic leaving nipples irritated and itchy. The fit is also really uncomfortable and boxy for large chests (34G). When I first tried it, it looked to fit well, however within a few hours and moving about, I'd popped out the top and the straps were digging in from all directions. I was really looking forward to having a slightly more sexy maternity bra, but this one is not for me.
