I ordered these tyres on the 21st of September, 2024 after reading reviews. I chose to go with these tyres just because I wanted the extra comfort of riding chunky tyres on British roads. They are not good, they lasted only one month and a couple of days. They do not protect against any form of puncture. My advise is to stay away from them. (SEE PHOTOS)They are meant to be slick gravel tyres, I had an puncture when I went over the grass at a park near where I live. I felt duped. I was wondering, they are overrated GravelKing tyres, that can't handle grass, let alone venturing into the wild thorny roads, loose gravel or very technical trails. Official lifespan of this tyres is September 21st 20024 to October 28, 2024. So, buy this chunk of rubber at your own risk.

For me, the tyre's have massively opened up riding in the area I live while avoiding too much of the dreaded A-Roads. I'm building up to join together 3 or 4 old railway paths on a ride and I think the tyres will be perfect. The tyres are not much heavier than the much narrower, slick tyres that came with my bike, but the grip and puncture protection on 'interesting' surfaces seems spot on. I've experimented with a few tyre pressures depending on surfaces, even running quite low for me, at 35PSI, where nothing made a 'ting - hiss' sound. I ran them yesterday at around 48psi with large sections of road and they seemed to roll relatively nicely and hit good speeds, although not as svelt as a pure road tyre. I'm still not tubeless, so that could be the next step. The ... MoreFor me, the tyre's have massively opened up riding in the area I live while avoiding too much of the dreaded A-Roads. I'm still not tubeless, so that could be the next step. The biggest tests have come when climbing a steep loose erroding track, getting up to 20% at the steepest bit, and I feel I've kept grip where required with a little shifting of weight on the bike. There has even been just enough grip for me to descend a wet, rutty, muddy track where cows enjoy grazing - not the ideal surface for the tyres, but they got me through where a road tyre would have been a rather unpleasant cow pat/mud ankle deep walk. And I like the look of the lighter sidewall option on a black bike, which I think looks mean and helps visibility.
