Based on prior experiences, returned to Panasonic range and pleasantly surprised. Works to expectation both cooking and reheating.Shows fingerprints on stainless and difficult to read menu unless at eye level. Otherwise a great product!

It works OK but food takes longer than my previous Sharp rated at same power. Need to add a minute or so to recommended times on frozen meals which are specified for this wattage which didn't happen with the Sharp.Missing a 1 second timer setting so minimum is 10 seconds. Button pad responsive but sometimes need to press stop to reset microwave next time you want to cook.Easy to clean and looks good,

My previous microwave died at only 2 years of age, so I did a bit of research on its replacement. The older one had rusted due to condensation, even though I wiped it out after steaming veges and I think that led to its demise. The new Panasonic is easy to use and seems to vent better which means it's not so wet inside after steaming. I love the grey interior which seems to keep cleaner and I love the outside appearance with the white/black/stainless steel trim.
This is a great microwave. We hardly use all the functions in a microwave normally, but with the sensor rehear option in this we rarely use anythign else!It takes a bit longer to heat food than our old unit that died, but that's because it heats it more evenly thanks to the inverter.Great service from Appliances Online too.
It does what its meant to...heat and defrost however if I'm being fussy/petty....1) what use to take 40seconds in our old fossil microwave now takes 50 seconds. .no real big deal though...whats 10seconds if ya have a screaming kid2) after you use it, if you need extra time after its beeped you still have to press the stop and reset button just to enter more time....makes no sense if its just beeped...that extra 1 second in having to press a button...that precious time adds up3) we've had it for 4 weeks but the control panel already has air bubbles under the numbers which suggests to me that its ggoing to tear very soon...the control panel wearing just after 4 weeks isnt a good sign in my books..I'm a mum...I need these appliances lasting a lot longer!
When I saw an inverter microwave, I always go for it and the price is a bargain. Unfortunately, it's a far cry from being the smart microwave that I'm used to. The rice doesn't cook very well and so we bought a rice cooker from appliances online which is the best purchase we did. Pasta was not cooked to perfection as expected. Overall, it's pretty fair. So we decided not to use it for cooking, unless you need it half cook to add to the sauce on the stove. The reheat function is pretty questionable because sometimes it heated too much.
I have had this microwave just over one month and find it excellent, especially for reheating food and drinks. It is quiet easy to clean and I would fully recommend this product
Have been using several weeks now. Has many handy features especially the self sensor cooking, turbo defrost and reheating taking the usual 'trial & error' out of the equation nicely.Yes the light is low; yes it does tend to hold surface finger marks; but these issues are very 'small beer' if you are after functionality and this has it in spades for the price!The only downside for me compared to my older Panasonic MW is that setting the timer to individual seconds is no longer possible - time choices are in 10 secs, minute and 10 minute blocs only. Can be a pain if you want to do a frozen slice of bread quickly for several seconds if you don't want to go to the trouble of using the reheat bread feature. I would get rid of the 10 minute selection (which you can do by 'minute selection' anyway) and bring back the individual seconds choice in future models.However I was impressed how vegetables and rice came out perfectly. The accompanying manual is pretty comprehensive in how to use and provides a good spectrum of example recipes; and well worth taking the time familiarising with it to get the best out of the cooker. Overall very happy as it economically provided a very handy tool for the kitchen!
I purchased this microwave after previously owning a Panasonic microwave. I use my microwave everyday and my old microwave lasted approximately 12 years. Was very happy to go with another Panasonic again.
