I bought this oven to replace my old Genius model which lasted over 15 years. This one is bigger but after a couple of years* the interior started to rust. I cleaned it the same way I cleaned the previous one.* When used to heat food, and the heating has been completed and then you want to heat another dish immediately after, you have to press the 'STOP' button, before you can re-set it with the new power, time etc. for the new dish. This is an extra press wasn't necessary with my old Genius. You could heat dish after dish and each time they were complete, you could put in the new settings for the new dish, without having to press 'STOP' in between each dish.* Setting the clock is annoying especially as we have to do it more often in the Eastern states because ... MoreI bought this oven to replace my old Genius model which lasted over 15 years. If you want to enter 12:35 for instance, you have to press the 10 min button TWELVE times! Then for the 30 - the 1 min button three times and for the 5mins, press the 10 sec button FIVE times - a total of 20 presses! With my old Genius if I wanted 12 o'clock, I only needed to press the 10min button once and the one min button twice = 12 o'clock, and so forth. Far less presses overall.

I bought this product in September 2021. Just short of 2 years later I started getting a error code. I rang Panasonic and they gave me the name of a repairer . I contacted them and they said I had to bring the microwave to them and they would charge $45 to test it. A friend who had bought the exact same product 18 months before me had the same problem also at close to the 2 year mark. Panasonic had provided them with a reset procedure which did not work for them but did work on my microwave. Since then I have had to use the procedure about 8 times in 6 months and three of those have been in the last two days. I purchased this brand and model to replace a 23 year old Panasonic Genius microwave that was still going strong but did not look good with my new Neff wall ... MoreI bought this product in September 2021. I am now having to face replacing the less than three year old microwave with a new one but will have to get the same make and model as it will have to fit into the expensive ($350 odd) stainless steel trim kit. Either that or another make of microwave and a new trim kit! Not good enought Panasonic.

This microwave sells itself with its sleek and user-friendly design that far exceeds what the competitor has. You don't need no lavish lack of turn plate or fancy words to demonstrate how efficient you microwave is. We recently purchased the exact microwave we had and the only reasons after years of use was that it's light had gone out and we had a gift card to use within the month. Otherwise we would have been happy to keep it. It's easy of use buttons and low noise level make this microwave a fantastic purpose for the heeds of my family. Thank you for providing a good solid product that lasts. It literally ticks all the boxes. Panasonic is definitely a brand you can still trust and rely on.

It’s been a month with this new microwave and it is aesthetic and effective! (We were looking for one that specifically matches the other black and stainless steel appliances in our kitchen). It was an easy adjustment to operating the microwave without a number pad. It is simple enough to use the 1 minute and 10 second intervals to heat the usual suspects. We didn’t want a microwave with the cooling function after heating, so this one gladly didn’t do that.My advice is to take a moment to learn the settings to make the most of the technology - sensor cook, melt & soften etcThe only issue I have, is that the digit display is blue, which makes it that little bit harder to read both in low light and day light. If the digits were yellow/white (as our previous microwave was), it would contrast better. I know it doesn’t affect the heating of food, but the microwave also serves as a clock in our house and that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5.
I just bought this today, and as soon as I took it out of the box I realised that this was going to be a long lasting premium product. The touch panel works really well, not requiring too much pressure to register input. The digital display is easy to read and the blue colour goes extremely well with the colour scheme. The inside is large and open and I can put more than one dish in it at a time easily. The turntable is sturdy and glides like butter when it rotates, seemingly unaffected by weight. The light bulb is bright enough to see the inside of the microwave clearly, and the interior reflects the light so that the shadows are mitigated. The food heats up really quickly, and smells so much better than before. Overall, this microwave has proven itself to be the microwave to end all microwave and I cannot wait to get many long years of use out of this!
Moved house and my old microwave was too big. Purchased the Panasonic and have been very happy with it. It is a good size without being too big and taking up a lot of space. It looks good in our kitchen matching the other appliances and overall works well. I have 2 small issues with it. The black door can be hard to see through at times and you have to open the door to check on food. Also when the time period has finished if you don't press stop you cant enter a new time for cooking. This can be annoying at times. Also you cant enter anything less that 10 seconds which again can be inconvenient.
This is a replacement for my last microwave of the same level. Cannot fault the microwave (although the vibrant blue led display is a bit extra) - otherwise it’s great in every functional way. The problem is no one sells it in white - or they don’t do it in white - and the black and stainless shows every single finger print. I did not once walked by and notice a mucky finger print on my old white one. 1 day in with the black and stainless and it looks like a baby has wiped its greasy grimy fingers all over this new one! I hate the look of it. Wish I could return. If I wanted my kitchen to look dirty I just wouldn’t wash the dishes!
I made the mistake of going by online images. This microwave is not built for ease of usage. There is no quick 30 section cooking function which is standard on many models. The up and down buttons are useless. The blue LED light is synthetic looking. The start and stop buttons are small. Such a dumb non user friendly appliance. Hope the designer learns from their mistakes and gets the simple stuff right. Don't buy if you care about speedy operation.
With my stove permanently broken I used to rely on sunlight or my neighbours barbecue grill to burn my food. But now that I have this magnificent looking microwave I no longer feel the need to leave my house anymore to seek my source of heat. The best part is that I can control how long to boil up the inside with a timer which is what my broken stove couldn't do. Sometimes I don't even use a plate and the microwave would still be perfectly intact further enhancing its durability. So if you don't want to cook then just get this particular microwave to do the cooking for you. Therefore, I highly approve of this product.
We’ve had 3 of these Genius Panasonic 32l; each one a newer model. However, we love them! It always gets a ridiculous amount of use & whilst it does burnout over a long time, the cost vs usage pays itself back tenfold. Every setting is spot on & I don’t even look anymore as it’s second nature to know where the buttons are; it’s very user friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone else using it ask what setting to use. We house it in our pantry. At first I was hesitant but it never gets too hot or steamy. I was pleasantly surprised. We have our favourite microwave model & as long as they make them, we’ll stick to it.
