After thoroughly reading the instruction manual, it is easy to use with a good array of recipes to choose from and with the larger interior it’s great for bigger dishes. I've been using this microwave for a few weeks now and am loving it's ease of use and the huge interior for my bigger dishes. I had to do an internet search on what the bit of grey cardboard was, for it was loose when I opened the microwave. Discovered it was a waveguide cover made of pica, and easily replaced when it gets worn out. Of course, I could have just called JB and they would have told me that. I'm looking forward to trying out the recipes in the guidebook while learning all the functions. Cooking spuds for mash has never been so simple — no more toughened edges because I got the timing wrong. Yes, I do recommend this quiet, family sized, good-looking microwave.

Choosing the right model is tricky - be aware Panasonic have two depths, and the bigger ones don’t fit in traditional microwave spaces, my bad for not checking measurements. Local Myer store was fantastic helping me resolve this.

The start/stop button does not have a set time function you have to press a couple of buttons to start. We only bought this microwave 2-3weeks ago so still early to comment on its durability and longevity performance. It has been good so far but as I said few buttons to press before its starts functioning. Also has to read the manual to understand the functionality of each buttons. Not as straightforward as other microwave out there.
Overall satisfied with the product, especially since the oven's width is wide enough to hold wider plates and bowls. The only thing I don't like is that you cant add time to an ongoing program e.g. if you are heating something and you want to add more time to it, you cant do it. We previously had LG oven which was more user-friendly to operate than this one.
I love this microwave. I needed a large capacity. The auto reheat function works great. The turbo defrost works great. It replaced a cheap one that eventually broke and i can definitely tell the difference. It is also much quieter and quicker. I would recommend this product.
If your buying a new convection microwave This one is great, HOWEVER, the manual really does need some refining. Its very obvious that English isnt the authors first language. The instructions are at times quite hard to understand and couple that with a rather short default time before it goes out of the particular mode your setting. It can become frustrating. We arent new to using microwaives so not knowing what we are doing isnt the problem. The manual isnt very clearThe mending system isnt particularly intuitiveAnd the time out before it will leave what your doing and put you right back at the beginning leading to many comical hair pulling moments punctuated by the occasional flurry of frustration filled ummmm naughty words being used.

Overall, this model is very similar to the 13 year old version it replaced. Keypad is less functional due to not having single seconds (10 secs min) and is much more difficult to read on black background. But does the same basic jobs we have, heating milk, reheating meals and defrosting. Defrosting seems to be improved with more even thawing. If it lasts as long as the old version Ill be happy. Old glass tray and turntable rollers are identical, so kept as spares.

The LED oven oven light is bright and keypad labels are easy to read.
