Bought for my 77yo 'english 2nd language' mum. Was very easy to set up. Small base that doesn't take up too much space on the table. Have been using it daily for a month- all going very well. Buttons easy to press. Good sound quality (she wears a hearing aid) It has replaced a previous Panasonic that lasted approx 4 yrs before the battery died. I'm very happy with this purchase. Bought online at 9pm (as previous phone died) and it was ready to pick up at 930am the next day in store.

Pros: I like that it has what seems to be easily replaceable AAA rechargeable batteries!The sound quality is good but I would like the option to go louder, I used the loudspeaker option once when I had an issue hearing someone! Value for money would have been higher if that option was availableCons: I did not have the option to go louder, even though it does have a volume control option, so I used speaker. Panasonic is a name brand and I expect this unit to outlive me. My last panasonic phone set lasted approx.10 years!

Excellent buy

I have been using this phone for a little while now and, although I have not used all of the functions yet, I am really very happy with everything so far. The phone sound is very clear, lots of ring tones, and not overly complicated to work out. Excellent simple answering machine where I can screen calls and it also shows me very clearly on both handsets if there are any messages as well. Really like the very clear banner advising on the battery levels too. The price savings is very impressive. I don't know what was wrong with the phone (I can't find any damage anywhere) but it seems to have been fixed perfectly.

Great Product

Product purchased as a gift to replace friends single cordless phone of the same brand. This product is already in place in our own home and we are more than happy with it capabilities and enjoy the convenience of the second handset. Features are many. We can strongly recommend this product if you are in the market for a cordless phone and something that is NBN ready. Buy it.

Nice phone but poor handset volume

I bought this phone a week ago for a busy shop. Generally the features are great, however the handset volume is way too low, even on maximum. When setting the ringer volume, there are up to 6 bars however for call volume, there are only 4 bars.The only solution I've found is to change to speaker phone, which is a reasonable volume but I really don't want everyone in the store to hear the entire conversation.So if you have excellent hearing and will use this phone in a quiet setting, go for it. But for anyone else, look for a louder phone.

Not a bad phone at all.

I bought the phone recently it's easy to set up and use. A typical Panasonic product quality at a reasonable price. I am happy to recommend this phone to anyone wanting to purchase it.

Perfect for your small home business

Great handset and answering machine. It’s so hard to find landline handsets nowadays. This little one is great. Clear messages on answering machine, messages remotely accessible . Can turn the ringer volume up or down (or even off) same with the answer answering machine. Ideal for my small home business when you don’t want it to be disturbed whilst with a client, but don’t want to miss a message. It’s more professional than just having a mobile in my opinion.

Phone purchased to use with new NBN connection

Phone stated on packaging NBN ready voice , extremely misleading. Cannot be plugged in directly needed to purchase ATA telephone adaptor which no one selling phones seem to sell found them online and then remembered a telephone company TELREX on the opposite of the motorway from the hyperdome (Loganholme). They sold me a grandsream 1 port ATA HT801 FOR THE SAME PRICE OF PURCHASING THE PANASONIC PHONE. (TELREX ALSO SOLD A SINGLE HANDS FREE PHONE A DIFFERENT BRAND FOR $20.00 normally $90.00), Then the set up was a breeze but till then hours of too and throwing between myself and my NBN provider. It seems to come back to the modem /router/gateway, that you have, this knowledge is needed by the vendor of the phone, they need to ask the correct questions to determine what is needed. Bit frustrating but got there in the end. The phone itself seems to be a bit low on volume wlile in call (hard to hear voice on the handset) . 1 star only it is only half of the equipment required.

Useful but manual is a little confusing

This phone has many useful features but navigating through the small print manual document is not easy unless you have 20/20 vision. In the short time Ive had it, it seems to have almost all features I need except one (maybe I just need to look harder). I exported the "contact list" and the "blocked numbers" from my now defunct wireless phone but cant see a way to import apart from manual keying. Perhaps I need to keep looking!

We have had Panasonic cordless phones for years

Sadly, I am dissappointed with this phone. It's the third or fourth Panasonic cordless phone we have had in many years and when we realised we needed a new phone I didn't think, just bought this online. It is very light weight and because of the shape we find we drop it a lot. It also falls off the charger because it's hard to find the balance point. The symbols on the screen are very hard to see, putting numbers into the phone book and finding them is awkward and the instructions are not clear. It is a shame because our last few phones were so good. I would have paid more for this phone if the shape, weight and graphics were better.
