Pros: Playback quality of DVDs is really good. The unit is compact, easy to use and doesn't have any nonsense attached to it. It has a scart connection so can interface with slightly older TVs - I bought it because my HDMI ports were used up but had a scart connection. Comes with a remote and batteries for the remote. Does everything I want - cant fault it.

Pros: The good points are despite it being small and light it works in its favor and fits under one's TV and is not mounted to the wall. There are also lots of variations available when watching a movie should you need to slow it down or enlarge it so, a great little piece of equipment. Cons: I believe you get what you pay for, and so if you've got to budget because Christmas is almost upon us you cannot go wrong with this item that you can update later and pack this little beauty up should you need it in the future as Panasonic builds things to last.

It’s a great player, the only downside is that it only has RCA outputs no HDMI or Component outputs, nor does it have a front digital display, one would expect these days that an HDMI output would be a standard inclusion. I use it to play CD’s so it’s not an issue for me. It has excellent memory features, it will memorise where you left off up to six CD’s or DVD’s
