I am very happy with my radio easy to locate stations and the dials is very easy to move. The volume is also easy to work helps that the two dials are big for moving. Sound is great not tinny sound like some radios out there. I have tried the radio inside the house and out in the carport and the sleepout and reception is great in all those places, definitely worth every cent. If you are looking for a great radio that gets reception and looks and sounds good then look no further. I definitely recommend this radio.

This a " simple to operate" radio which as excellent reception qualities. The flexibility the batteries/ac power gives is excellent, Knobs for tuning/volume are easy to utilise, and are substantial, not like tuning wheels on many other makes. This is a "no nonsense" practical and high quality sound radio.

A really nice easy to setup and use radio!

Purchased this radio for my 94 yr old mother. We needed something very easy for her to operate as my mother has quite bad eyesight problems. It was very easy for us to setup and we put some labels and raised bumps on the buttons that she would use. Its worked fantastic for her and so I highly recommend this radio for the elderly.

Good quality and value for money

Simple to operate, tune and save stations. For the size of the unit it has good sound quality - very clear and great volume. Sounds a bit tinny until you fiddle around with the settings but overall really good quality unit and value for money. I bought it as an emergency battery-operated radio if we get a power cut, but Im already using it outside while I do my gardening. Im happy with my purchase and would recommend this radio.

Great radio awesome reception

I bought this radio as I live in a poor digital signal area. I had a Bush digital radio that would loose reception continuously... very annoying fading in and out. Bought this radio as I knew Panasonic was a good brand and I was rewarded. Straight out of the box was awesome. Tuned very easily and easy setup of pre set stations. This radio is placed in the same position as the Bush has NEVER lost a station or suffered drop out. The tone of the large speaker is very nice and full sound, not a cheap tinny sound. Turns up plenty loud if needed. Overall luv this radio and cant fault it..... You pay for what you get

Looks Good but not Easy to use

A nice 10 preset stations but unable to separate Digital and FM station tuning. FM does not find station in autotune. You need to find FM stations manually! The Display does not show if the channel is DAB or FM. Display options is not saved & when you use preset it reverts back to default display. Instruction Manual do not match the Display. Unable to find out how to use the Alarm!

My second one.

Lost the first one in a storage unit flood and was bereft - happily they are still available, and at a more competitive price than 2 years ago. The sound is sweet and clear, and audible even at low background volume. The on / off button and preset layout is simple, and you can dig into the settings to make adjustments to sound EQ etc if desired. The design is minimal without being sterile - but remember the digital signal is not available everywhere, it's range is predominantly in metropolitan areas.

Not very happy

I bought this for my mother in an aged care facility, so she has some music to listen to. I chose it as the simplest radio and with biggest buttons for Mum to use with ease. After several issues with it not working satisfactorily, I replaced it with the same model, as I didn't want Mum to have to re-learn how to use a different radio. Now I find the new one only picks up 3 stations and will not work for any DAB station. Because of COVID lockdown, I am unable to get into the facility to collect the radio and return it, which I was about to do. And my mother has only 3 stations (with very mediocre and crackly reception) she can listen to as she cannot get reception for most of the stations she would normally listen to. Not at all happy.

Panasonic RF-D10

The Panasonic RF-D10 makes very good use of summing the audio stereo to a single speaker. The headphone output (Stereo, 3.5 mm jack - 16 Ω) is a stereo output and can be used to connect to external audio devices with a cable. With the batteries installed you can plug into some car stereo systems, a credit to it's portability. At 16 Ω most headphones used with mobile phones and laptops work but also the impedance is a good choice and would not overload most external devices. 1.3 kg with batteries, it is easy to carry for outdoors, picnics, beach and small enough to use a large re-sealable plastic bag to cover it in order to keep sand, dirt and water out. I was listening to the radio one day, I heard a song from a very famous band with a name that starts with B and I was impressed by the sound, it just leapt out of the radio. I discovered that the song was originally recorded for mono play so it was perfectly matched to the vintage car speaker type mono sound from the 10 cm (4 Ω) speaker installed. Excellent FM and DAB/DAB+ BAND III choices. I like the built-in alarm and the inclusion of a buzzer as well as radio. With batteries you'll never miss an alarm in power failure. I really can't say anything bad about this radio, it is compact easy to carry round and has all the necessary battery and connections required. Settings are easily found with the LCD display. I didn't expect much from this radio as I just wanted it for the garage to hear the news, but now that I have used it for some years. I'm very happy with it for the full range of FM and DAB/DAB+ BAND III radio stations, music quality and functions.

The best Radio you could buy.
