Pegasus is a subtle compliment beast! It gets the respect and the compliments of Creed Aventus. Pegasus has an almost metallic almond niche scent and the dry down slaps. This was a partial Blind Buy with help from the awesome people working at Nordstrom’s flag ship store in Mens fragrance department. They sent me samples of Pegasus & Sedley (I ordered Sedley today!) Usually I stick to Creed, Hermès, and of course Tom Ford. However give Pegasus a chance you will not regret it!

This smells absolutely amazing! I bought it for my husband for Valentines day and can't stop smelling it. It is warm, cozy, sexy, intoxicating... I just love it!! It smells of vanilla and almond, really decadent. This smells like nothing else I have ever smelled in men's cologne. I can't imagine anyone not loving this.

This has a good smell at first. Doesn’t last! For the price, this fragrance should last all day and into the night. I do not recommend this at all. There are tons of scents out there that smells just as good and lasts a long time for a fraction of the cost.Total rip off!!!!

I smelt Pegasus in store and it smelt great. I was really excited to open when I got home, but was disappointed to find it didn't smell like it did in store. It smells almost like medicine or gin, and has this sour scent to it. Maybe the bottle I purchased went bad, but I am very disappointed. The customer service was great though, a worker helped me the whole time I was there.
The person who said they don't smell it in 45 minutes has to be going nose blind. I wore this on Friday and sprayed it at 630 am and could still smell it on my skin at 730 PM. It was sitting closer but it was still there. Great fougere with a sweet wintry vibe.
Back when I was a little more clueless about fragrances, I would have said this was just another nice man scent. But now that I am a little more enlightened and can make out the notes, I can appreciate this beauty for what it is. I am partial to almond notes though so a little biased. This would make an amazing signature scent. Blind buy safe if you like almond and vanilla. Masculine leaning. Now I just need to get my hands on Pegasus Exclusif for some more woodiness.
This fragrance used to have the kind of performance you'd rave about.Now sadly, it's been neutered.The metallic note that used to be prominent seems to be tamed way down, if not nearly absent, which can be taken as good or bad depending on where you sit with that note. It certainly gave it a unique edge which it now lacks. It still smells good, but it's not what it used to be.The performance on my skin is half what it used to be. Gone is the solid 2 hour + projection, now I get an hour if I'm lucky. It's a skin scent after roughly 2 hours, and gone after 4 hours.Seriously not what it used to be.
I was originally going to get my husband Layton because I heard it was really good. When I smelled it in the store I didn't like it that much. I smelled Herod which I thought was really nice and then Pegasus which smells AMAZING! I can't stop smelling it! It is honestly the most wonderful cologne I have EVER smelled. My husband really likes it too. It smells like a powdery maculine vanilla.
I spent a Decent amount of time at the Bloomingdale’s counter sniffing each PDM and this was hands down my favorite. So unique and so different. The dry down is one of the best smelling things I’ve ever smelled. Also performance wise, this thing is incredible. Sprayed it on my shirt and still smell it more than 24 hours later.
I purchased this blindly and in my opinion, it didn’t live up to the hype. There’s some much better choices when it comes to pdm. Layton, percival and habdan all excellent when it comes to smell, performance and longevity. Pdm is definitely my favorite when it comes to niche fragrance but just not this particular one.
