This hairdryer is amazing. Hair dries flat, quickly, it's not too heavy to hold and has a long cord. Multiple settings of air flow and heat are very handy, my previous hairdryer was heavy to hold and really only had one heat setting. Love love love it! Very happy with this purchase.

I had been thinking about purchasing a parlux hairdryer for some time and after doing a some research I found that My Haircare offered the best price. I have medium length fine hair - but lots of it. I cant let it dry naturally as it is too frizzy so I was very happy to find that this little power pack has cut my drying time in half. It only takes me 10 minutes now to dry my hair to a smooth, blow dried finish. It is light to hold and has a great nozzle to give a smooth frizz-free finish. I brought this based on other reviews I had read so look no further as you wont be disappointed. The silver color is awesome and it is much less cumbersome than other hairdryers I have purchased. Will be great to travel with too. You will never regret purchasing a Parlux! I bought my first hair dryer 20 years ago for $300 (The Parlux 3200 model) and it has only just died. That was the best money I’ve ever spent! I have now upgraded to the 3800 model and I love it! Here’s to another 20 years with this beauty!

Parlux is an amazing g blowdryer! As a hairstylist, this is my go to dryer! It has all the power you need to get through 8hrs of blowdrys every single day! It drys hair is super speed, and isn't too heavy! I find that my shoulders are saved with the light weight! It's definitely more expensive than some others on the market, but hey, you get what you pay for and this baby is worth the price!!

9 months and smoking

I was ready to give this dryer a 5 star review.. This is the first hair dryer that actually took time off my usual dry time of 35-40 minutes. I loved it until today. I use it 2 maybe 3 times a week for 25 minutes - and not even continuous minutes. Today in the middle of drying my hair the fan started making a horrible sound and then the dryer started smoking. I've only had it since the end of January. What a diaappointment. Back to the hunt for a better hair dryer. Can't recommend this one!

After all these years!
10 August 2014

I'm now well into my fifties and have spent an entire lifetime abusing my hair in an ongoing battle to tame it! Previously had a cheapie hairdryer after all hot air is hot air right? WRONG!! How much difference can a hair dryer make? Well this one has transformed my life. My hair dries in about 10minutes and dries shiny and sleek and that is just using parlux and fingers to rough dry. I've previously had to use GHDs to iron out the frizz but barely need them with this amazing hairdryer. Just a quick whizz over and I'm done. Plus amazing frizz resistance in damp weather. Still don't understand how it makes such a difference - but it does. Well worth the money.

Best hair dryer ever

WOW, this is the best hairdryer I have ever owned, and at 56 I've owned many. It is hard to believe that a hairdryer can make your hair feel so soft and luscious, but incredibly it does, not sure how it does it, but it does! I have a lot of grey hair which always looked dry and wiry. Not the case now....my greys are as soft as the rest of my hair and now seem to blend in better.......hardly noticeable. I would definitely recommend this hair dryer based on my personal experience.

Good dryer
6 August 2021

My hairdresser uses this dryer and I thought it would be a good go. I checked all the comments about it so I guess I was expecting a bit more (specifically a bit more powerful considering my previous hairdryer had the same potency) and also because it's made in Italy haha Anyway, it treats your hair fine, make it a bit shinny and it' not heavy. No regrets but I might look for another option next time.I still recommend the product :)

Good hair dryer, look for an offer.

I bought it on sale, would probably be not worth it on original price. The hair dryer is smaller than I thought and not heavy (not a lightweight though, just normal).I expected some more power honestly and a faster air velocity. Nevertheless, with the nozzle the hair can be dried pretty quickly. The ionic and ceramic technology seems to work, since the hair are not as frizzy and fairly shiny. Obviously, what matters is also the conditioner and the creme that is used, if any.Only problem is in the original Parlux package I found the instructions of a another non Parlux product, hence the handbook is missing.

I've been using this dryer now for nearly a year and on the whole I can't see what all the fuss is about. I have very thick hair, collar bone length and even when it was shorter I struggled to find a dryer to cope, always buying 2000w plus, but still spending up to 30 mins drying my hair. The promise of a shorter drying time was enough to persuade me to 'invest' in the Parlux, because at these prices an investment it certainly is! The drying time is reduced slightly but not enough to have made this purchased worthwhile (it was a gift). If I dry my hair from damp, it still takes a good 20 mins and I end up with a head of frizz, this isn't the fault of the Parlux so much as an existing problem but again, smooth, frizz free hair is promised when using this dryer so I ... MoreI've been using this dryer now for nearly a year and on the whole I can't see what all the fuss is about. If I dry my hair from damp, it still takes a good 20 mins and I end up with a head of frizz, this isn't the fault of the Parlux so much as an existing problem but again, smooth, frizz free hair is promised when using this dryer so I was hopeful it would help. Ergo, I still have to leave my hair until almost dry before I put a dryer near it and by then, any dryer would do! The highest heat setting is VERY hot and it's easy to burn your hair but for me this is the only way to get my thick hair dry in a reasonable amount of time. The other problem is the weight, this beast is HEAVY!! Anybody with mobility problems in the arms is going to struggle. Oh, and the lead soon gets into a terrible twisted tangle even though I have never wound it up. When will manufacturers come up with something better?! On the plus side, the bright green colour is great. It's not that this is a bad hair dryer, it just doesn't deliver on its promises, for me at any rate, and at this very high price point that's just not good enough. Caveat emptor!
