At my hairdresser's insistence, I have always had Parlux for my super thick, long and unruly hair. This one replaced my 9yo one which I had sadly dropped on a concrete step one too many times...It's my favourite colour, it's faster (for me) than my old one and I love how much cooler it is on the low heat setting (actually stays cool unlike my previous one), but my one itty-bitty gripe is that the high heat setting is MUCH hotter than my old one. This is fine for me, but I can't use it on my kids who swim multiple times each week, so drying routine is now a tiny bit longer while I use the lower setting.

It's a lovely hairdryer - beautifully packaged and a stunning colour. I don't feel that the sound is reduced much (though they say it has been), and it doesn't feel as hot as my previous hairdryer. However my previous hairdryer did not have the ion technology, and this one does leave my hair feeling smoother with less flyaways, which is fantastic. Overall, I do rate this hairdryer (especially with the bonus of having a 2 year warranty), and would recommend to buy (especially when it's on sale!)

This is definitely a luxury purchase for me. At first I had buyers remorse thinking it was too extravagant a cost for the product. Am pleased to say that over time, it’s delivered. I have long very think hair and the drying time is drastically shortened compared to the $60 one I’ve had for years. Far lighter/ I don’t work up a sweat blow drying. No more crazy frizzed/ fly aways either.Ladies, buy it when it goes on sale ; )

Ive been wanting a parlux hairdryer for a long time and my hairdresser recommended this one to me as it’s the one she has. It is so light and dries my really thick frizzy hair super fast and leaves it smooth and bouncy. I even dry my hair on the medium heat setting instead of the hottest and get the same results with less damaged. So glad i finally have this hairdryer, ill never buy another brand again.
The hair dryer is advertised as a much more light aqua/teal colour but it’s the darker jade colour as advertised on other websites. Not a problem but worth noting.The hairdryer itself is amazing and I’ve had compliments on how my hair shines. The hair isn’t dried to a crisp and feels much healthier for it.The cord is extra long which does add to the weight but overall I’m very happy and glad I purchased.
Lightweight and comfortable to hold. Great colour. Only has 2 speed settings which takes a bit of getting used to (could really do with a 'middle' speed). I like that 2 nozzles are included. The long cord is handy. The 4/5 rating is due to the speed settings. And at this price, Parlux really should include a soft bag for storage. An easy online purchase with Myer.
I had heard about Parlux hairdryers and wondered what could be so different about them to justify the price tag. Then realised that I think nothing of spending hundreds of pounds on eg a vacuum cleaner yet skimped on hairdryers. Who cares how clean my floors are if my hair is a mess? On a 'cost per wear' basis, the parlux hairdryers are very good value indeed. Hair is dried faster, shiny and bouncy. Style seems to hold longer too. Wish I'd got one years ago. Only slight downside is that I am drying my own hair and hold the hairdryer in my left hand, but the switches seem to have been designed for right hand use.
Excellent hair dryer. Dries hair in as little as 5 - 10 minutes (long, thick hair). No fly away bits. Hair looks shiny and healthy as if it came out of a salon. Colour is beautiful - the photos don't do it justice. Parlux have the best hair dryers. My hairdresser recommended it to me. My last one lasted 17 years! Great European quality that's made to last.
Used this for the first time today.I’ve had 2 Parlux hairdryers in the last 16 years.The most recent was the advance light which was brilliant. I had only had it a few years but unfortunately it broke (my fault) my niece who is a hairdresser recommended the Alyon over a Dyson as she had both. The Alyon is so light and I love the matte black design,it’s super powerful and drys hair in no time. The 2 nozzles you get with this are great,especially the slimmer nozzle. I absolutely love it!!!brilliant price once again from LF!!!
After using several different models of Parlux hairdryers for the last 17 years (my original still going strong, but was time to treat myself with an update), can honestly say this little beauty is totally worth it! Much lighter and friendlier than it's predecessors. The improved cool shot button, cord design are all nice updates to the previous models. The colour shown in the photo online looks much lighter - it's actually more of a teal/deep ocean green.
