At my hairdresser's insistence, I have always had Parlux for my super thick, long and unruly hair. This one replaced my 9yo one which I had sadly dropped on a concrete step one too many times...It's my favourite colour, it's faster (for me) than my old one and I love how much cooler it is on the low heat setting (actually stays cool unlike my previous one), but my one itty-bitty gripe is that the high heat setting is MUCH hotter than my old one. This is fine for me, but I can't use it on my kids who swim multiple times each week, so drying routine is now a tiny bit longer while I use the lower setting.

Alyon hair dryer

This is definitely a luxury purchase for me. At first I had buyers remorse thinking it was too extravagant a cost for the product. Am pleased to say that over time, it’s delivered. I have long very think hair and the drying time is drastically shortened compared to the $60 one I’ve had for years. Far lighter/ I don’t work up a sweat blow drying. No more crazy frizzed/ fly aways either.Ladies, buy it when it goes on sale ; )

BEST HAIRDRYER ON THE MARKET

The Parlux Alyon is by far the best hair dryer on the market. Im a hairdresser and run my dryer for approximately 6hours of my working day, 5 days a week. Im obsessed. Not only is the Alyon light weight but is stronger in power in comparison to all hairdryers on the market. This dryer is built to last and will make your blowdrying at home quick and easy. The Alyon comes with a long cord, two different nozzles and comes in amazing colours. Cant recommend the Alyon enough, its a great investment for your hair that will surely last a LONG TIME

Couldn’t live without this hairdryer

Such a fantastic quality professional hairdryer. I couldn’t use anything but a parlux especially as I’m a hairdresser. Love that it’s so lightweight and such a gorgeous colour. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to help cut there drying time down. It’s so good for combating frizzy hair.

Parlux Alyon Hairdryer Midnight Blue

One of My beloved Parlux hairdryer was just broken after 13 years had served and spoiled Me well. With no hesitation I bought a new one which is Parlux Alyon Midnight Blue(Love the Colour) Surprisingly this hairdryer is very light was so different from my old one. With fast drying powerful systems make it quickly to dry My hair. My hair is so much smoother now and shiner. I was very happy that I can purchased from Myer when it was on discount also free delivered too. Otherwise it will be quite pricey for some people like me. I would highly recommend this products to anyone who need use hairdryer for daily use because of the 5 Stars Quality and long term investment products that I experienced. Happy customer.

Review of Parlux Alyon Hairdryer, Jade

I had heard about Parlux hairdryers and wondered what could be so different about them to justify the price tag. Then realised that I think nothing of spending hundreds of pounds on eg a vacuum cleaner yet skimped on hairdryers. Who cares how clean my floors are if my hair is a mess? On a 'cost per wear' basis, the parlux hairdryers are very good value indeed. Hair is dried faster, shiny and bouncy. Style seems to hold longer too. Wish I'd got one years ago. Only slight downside is that I am drying my own hair and hold the hairdryer in my left hand, but the switches seem to have been designed for right hand use.

Review of Parlux Alyon Hairdryer, Night Blue

So, having been so impressed with my old Parlux hairdryer, when it came to the end of its long life there was no doubt in my mind that I should buy another Parlux. I decided on the Aylon model but haven’t found it to be as good as my old Parlux. It somehow doesn’t feel as powerful, despite having a higher wattage. The cool shot button is basically flush with the casing, so when you press it in the casing digs into your thumb and it needs a fair bit of pressure to turn off the heat, tbh I really struggle with it - to the point of having to turning the heat off using the switch instead, which is a pain. I decided to give it a couple of weeks to see if I could get used to it but regret doing that now as I really don’t find it easy to use :(

Top hair dryer

Excellent hair dryer. Dries hair in as little as 5 - 10 minutes (long, thick hair). No fly away bits. Hair looks shiny and healthy as if it came out of a salon. Colour is beautiful - the photos don't do it justice. Parlux have the best hair dryers. My hairdresser recommended it to me. My last one lasted 17 years! Great European quality that's made to last.

WOW!!!

Used this for the first time today.I’ve had 2 Parlux hairdryers in the last 16 years.The most recent was the advance light which was brilliant. I had only had it a few years but unfortunately it broke (my fault) my niece who is a hairdresser recommended the Alyon over a Dyson as she had both. The Alyon is so light and I love the matte black design,it’s super powerful and drys hair in no time. The 2 nozzles you get with this are great,especially the slimmer nozzle. I absolutely love it!!!brilliant price once again from LF!!!

Worth it!

After using several different models of Parlux hairdryers for the last 17 years (my original still going strong, but was time to treat myself with an update), can honestly say this little beauty is totally worth it! Much lighter and friendlier than it's predecessors. The improved cool shot button, cord design are all nice updates to the previous models. The colour shown in the photo online looks much lighter - it's actually more of a teal/deep ocean green.
