As previously mentioned, they ARE indeed quite slippery. HOWEVER, they get the job done especially on tight schedules, like on a Friday night when all I want is to get another notch on the bedpost. To conclude, I WOULD purchase again, however they must address the fact that these are not reusable; however much I tried.

Was my first time using these and I’m never going back! So easy to deal with once you’ve figured out where to put the top loop so it dosent stab you in the cervix. Though if your partner is anything like mine you have to be able to deal with sandwich bag jokes.

The wife was apprehensive to try, but they insert easily and feel more natural than a tight male condom. Shame they have such a negative write up.

I bought this for my friend as a funny gift, as she was leaving the country. She thought it was very funny, as she had never seen a female condom before. But she showed great interest in trying it out, much to everyone's surprise.
These femidoms are each made of a strong, non-latex material that is smooth to touch and lubricated. Reading the step by step instruction pictures on the back helps once the femidom's unwrapped. It's best if your female partner takes over placing the femidom. You might need a dab of lube to make placing the femidom easier. As in the instruction pictures, uncoil the femidom, then squeeze the soft latex circle inside the femidom. Then, with two to three fingers place it inside the vagina until the long femidom is snug and secure while keeping at least two inches of the femidom's circular opening free at the vaginal entrance. For extra safe play, you might consider also using a gentle spermicide.
If you didn’t know it was there, you wouldn’t know the difference. Not restrictive like condoms. They should be giving these away free at the clinic instead of condoms. Guessing it’s down to cost but if these were free, there’d be no teenage or unwanted pregnancies and STI’s would be non existent, or you’d at least see a massive drop off in numbers. Can’t recommend them enough. Worth mentioning that you should try and take the plastic ring out before you use it though. It says to leave it in because it’s tricky to get out but I always hit that thing when it’s there and it’s not great. Also but some lube to put inside the sleeve. The stuff that’s in there doesn’t stick around for long.
I learned about these when I went to uni about 25 years ago. At the time it was a group aimed at gay guys to make sure they were safe, but actually they are for women. They are like a normal condom and you can use them like that for a man, but for a woman they should be held against the body and the relevant part inserted. However as it never became a very popular item my guess is that part of the procedure makes people uncomfortable. They have a lubricant on them and it can be used if you can't wear normal condoms as they are made of something else. They look a little like a plastic bag, but don't be put off as once they warm up there is no noise and they fit more like a normal condom. Your doctor might prescribe otherwise there are 3 in a packet, in some chemists ... MoreI learned about these when I went to uni about 25 years ago. Just the ticket.
Pros - I can feel my girlfriends warmth and there isn't the restrictive sensation that male condoms give..The female condom moves with my partner and feels much more natural. She likes it because she suffers recurrent BV and she is allergic to my sperm (something about changing pH levels.)Cons - Not sure many women embrace this, but it works for us.Earlier designs seem crinkly and noisy, but as soon as it warms to the body heat that disappears. All in all we both prefer them.Karl
