Back Graphic Sweet Monster

Graphics on the back of the t-shirt are horrible when carrying a backpack as they dont breathe well. Please bring back your 100% organic cotton construction designs with front side graphics. These wear well and last for years. Im not the only person who shares this opinion. Ive conducted my own convenience sample intercepts at retail and discovered the same sentiment. Consumers are disappointed in this design and construction. Please have your product manager test future designs carry a pack or mountain biking before sending these to market. I wont be purchasing your t-shirts until you rectify this product flaw. Also, from a branding perspective, consumers wear your identity as a badge of honor and want it visible on their chest. They cant see it on their backs. So ... MoreGraphics on the back of the t-shirt are horrible when carrying a backpack as they dont breathe well. Fabric is too sturdy

First off, sizing for the shirt is great. I like that it's a little longer. Two major-ish problems with the shirt though:1. The fabric is very heavy. I understand the thinking--making a shirt that will last a long while. However, this combines with issue two for a problem.2. The applied graphic on the back is not breathable. So the shirt is heavy, with a sweaty rectangle underneath the colorful Patagonia logo across the back.

If you're buying this, honestly, you probably already know how patagonia shirts and clothing in general fits; generally billowy and oversized. If you have an athletic build, this isn't going to look that good on you, IMO. But again, you probably know this. This thickness is real nice; the thickest t shirt I own. Feels like it will last a long time.Patagonia goes on and on about all the environmental stuff, but the shirt came wrapped in a plastic bag. A little disappointed in that. Why??? The envelope mailer was fully cardboard/paper though.

Get rid of the label!
30 June 2023

I have literally 15 of these shirts in S and M, absolutely love them. They are the best. The one thing I can't figure it out is why they have such a huge and obnoxious label on the bottom left inside the of the shirt. For an otherwise perfect shirt it's a head scratcher. I cut the labels out but it's tricky to do so without cutting the fabric. Please Patagonia, update this shirt with no label!

High quality shirt with unique Patagonia logo colors
17 August 2022

I love Patagonia shirts; they’re all super high quality and well made with thick, quality cotton rather than super thin, cheaply made shirts that stretch out after a few wears. They keep their proper shape and don’t stretch out and look awful after a few washes, they’re just very well made tshirts (that are also made with the environment in mind and use recycled content, etc.) and that’s why they cost more than similar tshirts from other companies. Most people see the price of these shirts and think it’s over priced, but it’s significantly higher quality and absolutely worth the additional price in every way. They also look nice, and these particular shirts are cool because every color shirt has its own unique different colored background in the Patagonia logo. I got the black one, as I think the particular bright colors on the logo look best and the colors are stacked in a nice order as well. It’s also got orange in it which is my favorite color, and the other colors look nice against the orange as well as all the colors against the black shirt. I also personally like front pocket tshirts; I know a lot of people don’t but when they’re done right, they look nice, and these are done right and is flattering, unlike most other tshirts with chest pockets. If you typically don’t like the front pocket style, I’d say give these a shot befayee they’re better and more flattering than any others are.

Nice T-shirt, but . . .
18 October 2022

This is a medium weight cotton T-shirt - very comfortable - but . . . the material used to make these shirts results in pilling BIG time on the frontside neckline (collar) with fairly normal wear after only three weeks - mostly due to chin/throat beard rub - now it just doesn't look good to wear in public - a quality material shouldn't/wouldn't do that - I own much less expensive T-Shirts that I've worn for years without this happening. C'mon, Patagonia - don't skimp on using good material for wear n' tear ability - I pay more for your brand because I don't expect this to happen !

Perfect!
31 July 2023

To start off, yes it is a boxy fit which in my opinion is perfect! Sometimes patagonias tees can have a slim fit which is annoying. It's not huge like some people are making it out to be. Unless you're super skinny you won't be swimming in this like Carhartt or something. If you have an average or athletic build these shirts are perfect! Definitely will buy more in every color!

Simple Shirt for a Simple Life
18 September 2023

I am a big fan of the Responsibili-tee line of products. The sizing is not too snug and the material rarely wrinkles. This is a simple shirt for whenever I am kicking around the house, running errands, or doing some light outdoor activities. I also appreciate that this shirt is constructed from recycled materials. My only wish is that Patagonia made a Responsibilitee without the big back logos.

The BEST tshirt
29 January 2023

I'm a 6ft slender guy so I often struggle between sizes. I hate tight fitting clothing but dont want to be swimming in it either, but these tshirts are the perfect fit! the sleeves are definitely on the longer side but for me thats perfect, I hate shirts that fit like military issued tees. Plus it has a nice tight neck collar. I loved this shirt so much I bought it in every color they had. I would 100% buy this again

The pilling, the pilling.
17 May 2022

The Patagonia cotton tee has been a staple for me for 20 years. I've been so happy with their longevity and fit I've collected 10 or more. Several of the fleet are starting to fade and show their age so I bought one of these pocket tees. The fit is as expected and I do like the color/design but I cannot recommend it. I have never had a t-shirt pill so much with so little wear. I've worn/washed it maybe 5 times and it's already looking ratty. This has been an issue with some other Patagonia pieces over the years (OG nano-air and better sweater come to mind) but I'm surprised by the change in durability of the cotton tee.
