I already have two Synchilla Snap Ts, one of which is 10 years old and still in perfect condition. My wife has three, including one that is more than 20 years old and still going strong. My three favorite colors are blue, green and yellow; so when I saw the new Vessel Blue colorway, I just could not resist. I have a hunch when my wife sees the joyous new colors for Women, the same thing is going to happen with her. Maybe the trick here is to just PLAN on adding one of these timeless, indestructible badboys every year, and don't feel in the slightest bit guilty. Make the Synchilla Snap T one of YOUR life's greatest pleasures! Soft, good fit, good pattern, warm. Just what I want with the lightweight Snap-T -- a little breathable and very cozy. The fit is pretty roomy but IMO in a good way. Not really a technical piece, but good for walks, a fire, etc.Only big negative is that after just having it about 2 weeks the seam in one of the sleeves split while putting it on -- looks like maybe it was just glued/fused together? Now there is a big hole ... I'll stitch it up, but kind of annoying for it to split so easily just putting an arm through the sleeve! Never had this happen with any other jacket from Patagonia or otherwise!

Never, never, NEVER put these in the dryer! The garment it’s self appears to be good, I have not fully put it to the test yet but initial feeling is positive.I was very unhappy to find all the items of clothing from Patagonia that came in this order were individually wrapped in soft plastic. This is absolutely unacceptable from your brand and I will not order again until this is resolved. Noting I buy clothes once every 12 months and typically only from Patagonia for ethical and environmental reasons.This is my reason for a one star review. A brand that speaks a big environmental game needs to walk the talk and unnecessary soft plastic use makes my blood boil.
I'm well aware your company (501-C4 actually... and that's awesome!) resists efforts by the consumer at large to offer product suggestions but this one is so trivial. You know that hang loop (mine's green but I guess they come in different colors) that lies flat? You know what I'm talking about, right? Well if you were to sew it so it was always slightly opened (like turning one end of the loop 180 degrees) it might save me and countless others from simply dropping the garment on the floor in hanging frustration. Or...here's another cheaper idea! Maybe offset the affixing of the two ends by 1/2" (their width) so you can get a finger through the hanging loop. i have been thinking about picking up a Patagonia synchilla for several years, and this year i picked up two. I just love the retro look and the colorways. this is something that can go from work to the trail and out for some drinks afterwards. I got this lightweight synchilla and the thicker synchilla anorak. fortunately, I haven’t experienced any shedding yet as others have mentioned. time will tell. i haven’t worn them much as it’s warming up now, but i got a few good uses here in Japan and i was quite warm.

I have never owned a Patagonia product before, but was excited by my purchase because I thought I was buying a good quality product that both looked good and functioned well as a warm pullover. Unfortunately I found that it was only stylish for me. After traveling with it for 6 months in may climates I found myself cold whilst others with similar fleeces were warm. I wore this by itself whilst going out at night, I wore it under a shell while hiking, and I wore it as a layer while snowboarding. I just picked up the High Hopes Geo version, and the colors are as awesome as they look online. I found it at the Grand Opening of a new REI. They literally only had one and it was my size, on my birthday. Yay me. I typically find myself buying size large, but this I got in a medium. This was my first Patagonia purchase, so could be consistent through their products. I tried on a large in a different colorway to make sure I wasn't a large. Typically, mediums don't have long enough sleeves for me, but not the case here. I'm 6'!"slim and leggy, long arms. Anyway, very lightweight and very comfortable. No hand pockets but not a biggie. Makes it less bulky. The chest pocket is decent size. Big enough for a cellphone, though I don't use it for that.

I have a re-tool in size L from 2020 or so that I love, but it only fits over a t-shirt. This fleece is cut much baggier, and I got it in an XL. I'm 6'1 175 and it fits over 2 thin layers. It works great, it's plenty warm on mornings down to about 20 degrees and doesn't get sweaty until around 60-65 degrees. It doesn't work as well for fly-fishing, the baggy cut is cumbersome with waders.
