These are great! The same great casual loose feel as baggies, but without the cheese grater liner! And they certainly look a little more sophisticated! I feel kind of dressed up wearing these! Another great product from Chouinards gang! I greatly appreciate all of your fine gear as well as your efforts to be good people!!

Compared to the normal baggies, these differ in a few ways. One, obviously the fabric. You wouldn't want to swim in these, though they do still dry off pretty quick when liquid is spilled on them. They feel lighter weight than the baggies too, and overall much breezier. They're a little slimmer around my legs than the baggies. The pockets aren't nearly as deep, so you don't have to dig down to your knees to retrieve things from your pockets and things you're carrying down there aren't swinging around as much. Though the front pockets still have the wide opening that goes basically half-way down the shorts, so it does feel like there's a real risk of things you put in the pockets falling out. The back button pocket is great and very secure though. As someone that doesn't feel the same love so many others do for the normal baggies, I think these are definitely one of my favorite shorts. I haven't had issues with them tearing yet like others complain about, but the fabric's thinness and weave does make it feel like it'll be a likely issue. My only real complaint though outside the front pocket opening is that there isn't a 5" inseam option like there is for the normal baggies--these are super comfortable and look great but they hang almost down to my knees when standing, and I personally prefer a shorter short, and I'd gladly pay for an version with a bit less fabric on it. Overall though I highly recommend these, especially if you're somewhere with a warmer summer.

Another great line of shorts from Patagonia! No surprise there! Another iteration of the excellent Baggies! No liners, great fit , this material is a little more heavy duty than the BaggiesNaturals. You could still look presentable at a function, but you could also work in these without worrying about them snagging or easily tearing! Keep up the good work guys!
