This sweatshirt does not fit at all like a previous 100% cotton sweatshirt from last season! (Last seasons was huge!). The fit out of the bag was superb. After a wash, it was quite tight in the chest. I have a very broad chest and shoulders. 5 foot 11; 205 lbs. If you hit the gym frequently, and you are on the boarder line of sizes, opt for the lager option.

I got this sweatshirt to replace an old LW crew neck that had ripped. ItIts hard to find full cotton sweatshirts these days, especially organic cotton, so this was a great find and I wasnt disappointed. Normally I would get a medium for T shirts and Long Sleeve, however I went with a small as this was more of a loose fit and I did not regret it. Fits perfectly. Its great for about 58°- 68° days and breathes well for cotton. Definitely will try to get another one since there are so may times I want to wear it!

Love the overall fit and feel of the sweatshirt. Material is soft and cozy and the fit is not too boxy. But I really don't like the crewneck. It's unnecessarily tight even though the rest of the piece fits with right amount of positive ease. The narrow neck takes away a lot of comfort acting more like a chocker sitting at the lower neck. I wish it was just a little wider.

Finally, something simple, practical and well-made. Love the 100% organic cotton. Lightweight and the cut is properly relaxed and fits great. The sleeves may be a tad long for shorter ladies, but it’s a sweatshirt. The only thing I would recommend, other than this sweatshirt, is to wash with like colours. There was a lot of blue dye in first wash.
I purchased the Regenerative Organic Certified Cotton Crewneck Sweatshirt based on another Patagonia sweatshirt I have of a similar style and fit. The sweatshirt color, Wavy Blue, is as depicted. I wear an 8/10 or medium in Patagonia women's sizing and ordered the Small. I like the sleeve and body length of this gender-inclusive item. The cotton is a nice weight for 4 season wear in Wisconsin. I like the ribbing around the neckline, cuffs, and banding at the bottom. All are a good combination for a basic piece to add to my more casual wardrobe.
Im wearing my sweatshirt while writing this review and Im already thinking about getting another. I saw a friend wearing one and thought Id give it a try since Im always on the lookout for the perfect sweatshirt. Size is great with enough room to move and breath. Thickness is just right - not too bulky but with a very substantial feel. Nice details including a v under my chin and a Patagonia tag on the left breast. Nothing fancy, just a great shirt! Color (dark blue) is fantastic. I think it will only improve with wear.
I really love the fit, feel, and style of these. I’m 6’ with a longer toro, so it’s hard to find sweaters that cover the bum when I want to wear leggings when running errands or just simple day to day casual wear as someone who works from home. These sweaters hit me exactly where I want them to and I don’t feel like I’m tugging them down all day. It’s also a great weight! Not too heavy, and know they will wash up well for years. Definitely would say it’s more of a French Terry knit material than the typical “sweatshirt” fleecy inside you think of - but that gives it more points in my book. I live in Washington state, and this will be a staple all year round. Under coats and layers in the winter. And perfect for chilly bonfire nights in the summer. Im 5 ft 10 in, 205pds. True to size fit (XL), but like most cotton it may shrink?. The fabric looks to be of high quality. The only thing I do not like is the sleeves. The length is good but the width of them seem small as compared to their recycled bottle hoodies. I suppose if I did not have a fat gut the sleeves would look okay on my person. If I had body builder pythons, I think the sleeves would be way to tight. This is not a deal breaker to me though. I will keep it.
The fit, fabric, and style is great. I usually wear a women's XS and the XXS is the right size. The only downside is that although it's labeled as a sweatshirt, it's really more of a thick shirt. I would love a heavier weight 100% cotton fleece sweatshirt.
the fabric of this sweatshirt is a bit different. it is very lightweight for a sweatshirt. i would have marketed it as a long-sleeved shirt. do not expect it to keep you warm like a traditional sweatshirt would. also, the weave seems very breathable, almost cooling, and is not as soft feeling as other sweatshirts i have tried. as for fit, the sleeves are a bit disproportionately long relative to a rather trim torso fit. nice looking, however!
