Similar but slightly better than Balti sauce. Still thin and bland but hotter and sweeter. Good to use it as a base to build on but meant to be good enough on its own. Followed serving instructions first time of using, with prawns and peppers. It will go just as well with other meats and or vegetables.

These jars are very convenient. The sauce can be used to marinade the meat first or added to a frying pan after sealing your chosen meat. The flavour is not too hot . I find the texture however slightly 'gloopy' but it doesn't ruin the finished dish.

I used this with some peppers, onions, mushrooms and chicken pieces to knock up a quick Curry served with some naan bread and yogurt. It was easy to use and tasted ok but not enough heat for me and I found it slightly sweet. If you don’t like a hot curry this maybe the one for you.
