This product works every bit as well as the higher end products that are out there. Considering that all SD cards come out of the same 3 factories in China, chances are this was produced in a factory that makes the higher end SD cards. The speed is superfast. I use it for my music files - over 60GBs and there are no transitions. It goes from one song to another with no breaks or corruptions of files. I can't recommend this product highly enough. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Bought this as I gave my 16g card to a friend to replace the 256mb card she got with her phone. Dead reliable, just put it in and forget it. I used this card for the rest of the year and then as I ended up going with a Nexus 6 (what idiot thinks a cell phone doesn't need an SD slot, seriously?) I gave it to another friend who somehow didn't have on at all in her phone. now a year later it's still running strong in probably her third phone, maybe more. She's MERCILESS with her cell phones. LOL

Ran various tests to determine authenticity and speed. Authenticity test passed. As for the speed tests: On a PC: Writing a 4.07 GB file size took 9:55 seconds with a fastest writing speed of 7.03 MB/s. That is a huge disparity from the "up to 20MB/s" specified --and yes I know it is "up to 20MB/s"-- but still, this deserves notice. On an LG Android phone, using a benchmarking app: 11.89MB/s write, and 26.05MB/s read. Still quite a bit of disparity from the specified speeds. Overall, I would definitely buy this card again. Great brand, great price, decent speeds.

I have a older memory card reader on one machine that won't read the card. It simply says that the card needs to be formatted before it can be read. I am not sure what would have happened if I had formatted it because of a compatibility issue between the reader and the SDXC memory card. I have never had a problem with memory made by the Patriot company and this worked so well in my table that I may purchase another one and store movies on them so that to watch when I am out of town on business or vacation. If you are looking for a MicroSDXC card for a tablet or phone then this may be the card for you. I would not hesitate buying another one myself.
I used various test files including 5M MP3 files, 500M video files and 5G compressed files with Teracopy. A packet based file utility that replaces Windows copy/move function. On the MP3 and MP4 files it moved the files at a rate of 14M/s, but the moment I tried compressed files (RAR, Zip, 7z), the speed dropped to 768k/s on the move but the read/test portion ran at 17M/s. Teracopy first breaks the file down into packets then moves them similar to how a peer to peer system works. Then it performs a CRC check (can be turned off) to check the file was moved/copied correctly. The move/copy portion only ran at 14M/s for small files and less than 1M/s for large compressed files, but both read/test phase of Teracopy both ran between 14-17M/s.
This was my second problematic Patriot micro SD from Makro.I suspect it is a fake.I will not buy this brand agà in.They do not last long before totally corrupting. The first lasted a week, the second two weeks.Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr frustrating!
After owning a Patriot 64GB Signature series micro-SD card for six months, it quit. I wrote about it here. I was immediately contacted by Patriot, whom asked me send in the defective card. I did, and about a week later I had a free warranty replacement. While the defect in the original card was an annoying hassle, Patriot redeemed the situation by stepping up to the customer service plate and shining. Well done Patriot, and thank you.
I bought this MicroSD card for my new Asus Zenfone 2. I know the Zenfone 2 specs states it only supports up to 64GB MicroSD card officially, but unofficially, it work with 128GB too! Here's the deal. You need to format this MicroSD card to exFat first. You may ask why not Fat32? Well, Fat32 format only supports up to 4GB file size for a single file. For example, you won't be able to watch movies greater than 4GB. Not just video files, this applies to all other files greater than 4GB. This is the limitation of Fat 32. exFat format won't have this limitation. If you have formatted your micro sd card to exFat and your smartphone still won't recognize it, there's another step you will need to do. Bought to work with a Bearcat police scanner that uses the US database on an SD card for frequency loading. Had no issues with transferring the database from the original SD card to this new one. Seemed to speed up the initial boot up of my scanner. Overall, a good deal!
Note that my review is for the Patriot LX 256 GB Micro SDXC U3 UHS-I Class 10 card that was "Sold and Shipped by Newegg", not from a seller on the Newegg marketplace. That's important since there are so many counterfeits out there. I read that fully 1/3 of SD cards on the market are counterfeit, so beware. For example, just do a search for 1TB Micro SD card. You'll get results, even though no such thing actually exists yet! (At least, they don't exist outside of the lab as of July 2018 when I'm writing this.)
