I was having a hard time finding a shampoo and conditioner that worked for both my real hair and my hair extensions that didn't cost an arm and a leg (previously used Kerastase, Pureology, etc, but no longer could afford it). I was so happy to finally find Paul Mitchell Clean Repair! Way more affordable, and leaves my hair clean and soft without any build-up or residue.

I see a few bad reviews, understandable. I didn't look at the ingredients list which I guess I should have. I usually buy this at my salon but just ordered it from here. I think this line smells AMAZING. It smells like you left the salon every time you wash your hair. My hair feels soft and clean afterwards and doesn't leave a residue or make my hair fall out at all. I have thin hair but I have a lot of it.

I didn't bother to read the ingredients until I noticed my hair shedding more than normal. This shampoo and the conditioner both contain DMDM hydantoin, an ingredient that releases formaldehyde and has been linked to hair loss. Do not buy this.
