Very lightweight shampoo that easy removes dirt and gives shine without weight. I have a lot of fine hair and a lot of new growth in hairs that need some smoothing as they can get frizzy but I hate when shampoos are too heavy and leave a cast behind, no one likes to wash their hair that often. The scent is light and fresh and doesn't linger too long. Love that it has no SLS but unfortunately has alcohol. Would repurchase at some point.

Can't do my hair without this product

I have very curly hair (Black/white) If left to dry on my own, it is fine and frizzy. I have used this product for years after another brand discontinued my previous style gel. I prefer a wettish look while my hair dries and this product is perfect. People comment on how great my hair smells almost daily. If protected overnight, I can get a second day out of my curls with no touch up. It leaves my hair in spiral curls with no additional work and people always ask if it's my hair, a perm or weave. I absolutely love this product and recommend it to everyone who asks.

I Love How Lightweight This Is

I have fine, oily hair and this conditioner is so lightweight. The scent is a light apple but not overpowering and I can't barely smell it after my hair is dry. The only thing I have noticed is that it doesn't seem to give my hair body. Although I'm not disappointed about that because mostly bought it knowing the formula would be lightweight. Regardless of how lightweight any conditioner is, my hair tends to hold onto any product so I don't use this everyday. I still recommend this.

Made Hair Fallout

I bought this shampoo because it said good for frizzy hair. I have very thick, curly hair. I used this shampoo for about 2-3 months. The shampoo caused my hair to fallout in clumps and thin. One time I was at a hotel and washed my hair. My hair fell out so much, I clogged the tub drain. I did go to the doctor because I thought it was menopause. They told me it could be my shampoo. After I quit using it, I did not have any problems with hair loss. This is the first time I ever experienced such a thing.

Paul Mitchell Colour Protect Daily Conditioner 1000ml

Disappointed in this product. True, it is a lightweight formula but that is it. Does not detangle. Does not feel like to conditions my hair and hair is not nourished. Hair comes out with some frizz. Have to use copious amounts of conditioner and it still does not nourish. Will not buy again. Waste of money.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Shampoo 300Ml

This is my favorite gel It holds my curls and leaves them very soft. I have 2b2c hair think looser s curls. I use this as follows Once Im done with my shower, and while my hair is still completely wet, I apply my leavein conditioner, then I apply this gel. I make sure my hair is very wet throughout the process. I wrap my hair in an old tshirt and proceed with the rest of my routine. I usually let my hair down about 1020 mins after. I either air dry or diffuse. I end up with welldefined curls, but theyre usually crunchy this is to be expected. I usually take an oil like argan or jojoba oil and crunch my curls and the gel. This results in soft but defined curls. Ive tried this with other gels, but my hair prefers this product. This is hands down my favorite hair gel.

Super curly hair tamer

Hair type: Very long, very curly. Hangs in coils. Normal to fine texture. I'm Asian Indian and White. My routine: Comb hair in shower, apply 2 pumps of Tea Tree Moisturizer, apply a decent amount of Tee Tree Firm Hold Gel to damp hair, finger-twirl a few sections around the face and top of head, blow-dry with diffuser, done. For extra humidity control, I'll add in a drop or 2 or a super strong gel (current one I use is Redken Hardware 16) with the Firm Hold and a splash of water so it applies smooth. In my personal experience, I've found a lot of the products marketed to curly hair go way overboard on "moisture" (greasy), "softness" (0 hold, i.e. frizz), and "curl-enhancing" (it already does that on its own, why do I need more of it???) I think it's all in an attempt to recover from that 90s just-stepped-out-of-a-bathtub-full-of-hair-gel look we all indulged in for I still don't know what reason... But because of this, hair gel in general seems to have gotten a bad rap, which makes me sad, because I still find it to be the only thing that can control my head. What I love is the way the gel holds and maintains shine, it doesn't flake or dull the hair the way a lot of curl creams can. Even if you go in heavy with it, it's very easy to scrunch out any "crunchiness", so it's quite touchable. Personally, I prefer to have hold and be able to tone it down with scrunching if need be rather than have soft, "weightless" hair that turns to dandelion fluff and shrinks up 6" with the slightest hint of moisture. On top of all that, the stuff smells lovely. Highly recommend, hope it never leaves. :)

Thank goodness this Conditioner is Back!

I have been anxiously waiting for this conditioner to come back. When I called, I was told it was supply-chain issues on some of the botanical ingredients, but that the Spring Loaded Conditioner would return. In the meantime, I tried several new products, and, my curly hair was never as nice as when I used JPM's Spring Loaded Conditioner. I had written in the past that I wouldn't stray, but, the unavailability caused me to try, and, I am so glad the wait is over. My hair is back to looking lovely and soft and manageable and not frizzy. Thank you, thank you, for making this conditioner again, and all in the Spring Loaded line. I don't like to use anything else.

This is my main go-to!

I am a black woman with thick wavy very short hair. This gel enhances my waves with great shine and does not get crinkly hard. I love that it absolutely does not flake! I use PM sculpting foam first and then go over certain areas with the gel. I need to buy this by the gallon! Note: it didn’t make my hair blue and purple. That’s just me being eccentric!

Top of the line

Amazing, I've been using this gel now for the past month and it has really kept my hair soft. My twist stays for an entire week. I've never had my hair remain so soft, yet curly for an entire week without applying more products. I have type 4C hair, it normally gets dry after two days with other products but this has been a real game changer. Will keep buying as long as the ingredients remain the same.
