It forms large white globs so if I forget I have to wash my face and start again. From a maintenance perspective the last few years I have used the 9% bha at minimum once a week.My daily routine is the 4% bha liquid with the hyaluronic booster because this pairing doesn't form globs. The original 4% bha foam formula would burn my skin but no issues with the 9% bha liquid pump which dispensed too much so I'd use it all over my face which is how I started down this road.It took 8 months 2x daily to work on a giant milia but beat the heck out of surgical option. It definitely wasn't the prescription product because I never applied that to the eyelids (due chemical burn potential). Give it a go if milia and monster blackheads are causing you stress while you wait for a dermatologist appointment!

At 54, I'm struggling with sensitive, acne prone skin that's dryer in winter, and becoming even more dry as I enter menopause. My T-zone is like it was 40 years ago, I just can't use anything too harsh. The rest of my face is dry and aging, with occasional pimples, milia, and other issues. I read through many reviews last night, then used it for the first time in about a month or so. Sorry I "forgot" about this magic potion. I even used it on a few small scalp bumps. Woke up to much improved skin. Try this, you'll love it if you suffer from any kind of blemishes. Miracle potion!

I use this product most every day. However, with the last tube I purchased, when I pinched the tube to get the product out, it exploded from the top of the tube - the plastic seam opened up - and most of the contents landed on my bathroom mirror. I was very lucky that this acidic product did not get into my eyes. I contacted Paula's choice and they sent me a replacement. But I felt to compelled to write this review so that other customers are aware this could happen, and to be very careful when they use the product.

So here it goes... I've been washing my face with a very mild black soap not PC, Pore Toner PC, this BHA 9%, Niacinimide 20% and this Cetaphil moisturizer. Im trying to decide which PC moisturizer to get now but I know that I'm on the right track, because let me tell you after using these products my skin, my face is 95% better than what it was before. My pores are virtually non existent, my skin is looking smoother not much texture, my white heads are gone, no black heads and my redness is going away as well. Im soooo grateful I finally got this and I'm about to buy like 5 more just incase you guys stop making it because honestly its saved my life and I want to thank you for that! And yet, less than 1 full 24 hours after starting this, my husband says this morning, "you're skin is looking better. Like, noticeably better". And he's not wrong. I am hormonal and have a stressful job, starting HRT, and look like I have the da*n chicken pox on any given day. I've been fighting this acne for YEARS. Overnight, I've seen more improvement in my skin than I have in weeks and months of all other methods and products. I have dry, sensitive, reactive skin and it doesn't like most things. (Yay! But amongst all of the above, the stellar product which made the difference was definitely the BHA 9 - the only new addition to my PC routine. While the use of a salicylic cleanser was also a new introduction, slightly calming the redness temporarily, it was definitely the introduction of the BHA 9 which produced the most startling results within 2-3 days. My skin has now cleared up and I will be anxiously awaiting the next price reduction (I just missed one!) to top up on this miracle product which I cannot afford to be without. Don't hesitate! It is a winner!

It is for sure the most effective spot treatment I've used on blemishes. I don't think there's such thing as a miracle spot treatment - my belief is that if the blemish "disappeared" overnight after using a treatment once, the blemish was probably on it's way out anyway and the treatment just helped to speed things along. That said, I think this one is more effective at "speeding things along" than others I've tried since there's so much BHA in it. The body spray has been a miracle for my body and ear breakouts, and the azelaic acid + niacinamide booster set was great, but I had to be careful about buffering the niacinamide w/lots of moisturizer to avoid a rash, and certain sensitive areas around my chin and eyes to prevent cyst type rosacea breakouts from the azelaic. Still, it was the best thing out there for my acne-riddled sensitive, dry-to-combination, rosacea-prone skin. UNTIL I tried this. I apply this as a spot treatment for milia and sebaceous filaments. Milia has been my problem for years and this is miraculous. With once nightly treatments on my sensitive 71 year old skin, in 3 days I could actually see that my milia was shrinking. Within 2 weeks - totally gone. It's amazing and I am so grateful to finally find an answer to these unsightly and embarrassing bumps. I'm suffering no dryness or rash or discomfort. I highly recommend it.
