With extensive back acne, I used this product consistently for a month. Coming from a girl who loves backless or low back tops but insecure about wearing them all her 27 years, this product has worked a miracle! I'm brown and my scars are darker. The product lightened 90% scars by two tones, evened the skin tone of my back and reduced erupting acne. I'm now wearing every f top I wish to. Gosh the best feeling ! So I have had stubborn, folliculitis type bumps on my shoulders and chest for about 10 years that doctors have gone back and forth trying to treat, from various OTC acne and KP treatments, sulfur washes, BPO, tretinoin, anti fungals...At one point I even stopped working out to avoid sweating, refused to wear my hair down, started wearing only baggy clothes.. I'm in my late 20's and have struggled with acne since I was 13/14. I've tried tons of products for my body acne with little success. It's been a huge source of anxiety for me with clothing especially in the summer. I bought this product because it had the same active ingredient as the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant (i.e. 2% salicylic acid) and includes licorice, but it is no replacement for the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant! First of all, the product has an overpowering alcohol smell, which the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant lacks. Ironically, it also caused tiny whiteheads to break out all over my face, which the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant didn't do. I've never broken out like this before and never would have expected this to result from using a salicylic acid acne product. This was a complete waste of money for me! Very disappointing.
