This is my favorite exfoliant to banish my stubborn acne! I swear I have tried everything and nothing quite works as quickly and effectively like Paula’s Choice formulations. I especially like this particular BHA because it noticeably makes my pores appear smaller and doesn’t dry out my skin! I definitely see an improvement with my overall texture, blackheads, and blemishes. Don’t sleep on this product this is a must have!

This along with the Resist line version of the 2% BHA I use interchangeably when the original one in the gray bottle is sold out. Which it regularly is. I don't notice any discernible difference between the 3 imma be honest. It does what the other 2 do, clears my pores and keep the acne at bay while fixing my texture without melting my skin off. I don't get any irritation from using any of them twice a day most days of the week. I take a break once or twice a week to use the Sunday Riley Good Genes. Might probably never stop using PC's BHAs. It is a tad expensive and the results aren't immediate. Things noticeably improved around 3 to 4 weeks. But I will continue purchasing. There isn't a better daily exfoliant as far as I can tell yet

Great for oily, acne-prone skin

I started using this after a friend recommended Paula's Choice. I had never heard of this brand and was interested in trying it. I have been struggling with breakouts along my chin and cheeks due to wearing a mask every day. My friend had a sample of the regular BHA exfoliant and I did like that, but I wanted to try the Clear line due to my acne issues. After a summer holiday and a change of my pill I had small bumps all over my forehead from sweat/suncream and I was breaking out every week with awful blind pimples. This had gone on for at least two months and I'd tried so many new products to stop it but none of it was really doing anything. I then got annoyed and did some googling and read a blog article about this getting rid of forehead bumps, so I thought I'd give it a go, and I am amazed. After less than two weeks the forehead bumps have almost completely gone, I haven't had a single new blind pimple, and my skin genuinely looks so healthy. It also looks to have reduced the red marks left by the previous blind pimples, which I'm so happy about. This is genuinely such a good product.

Paula’s choice is a consistent and dependable brand. Every product I’ve tried from this brand performs as promised and the Clear Anti Redness Exfoliating solution did not disappoint! I enjoy wearing makeup but unfortunately that comes along with build up and black heads. This product significantly reduced the amount of breakouts I experienced and left my face feeling so clean and referenced. I wish the bottle was a little larger because I could see myself going through it very quickly! I will definitely purchase in the future.

This 2% BHA/salicylic acid liquid exfoliator works incredibly well for me. I was confused between what the difference was between their other 2% BHA/salicylic acid liquid exfoliators (like the Clear Collection Extra Strength and the one from the Skin Perfecting Collection that is their best seller). I ultimately decided to go with the Regular Strength one from the Clear Collection since it was specifically marketed towards people with acne and that was my main concern. No joke, the first time I used it there were immediate results. I used it with a cotton round and my skin felt so smooth and silky to the touch. When I woke up the following morning, my skin continued to be smooth and silky to the touch but I also noticed that my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (from acne marks) were blurred/lightened. Truthfully my skin feels so hydrated, I feel as though I don't even need to moisturize after using this product (though of course I do). This product is also amazing at keeping my blemishes at bay and preventing new ones! I did run through this bottle pretty quickly and do wish there was more than 4 fl oz. especially because it is a liquid and you are losing product when applying it to a cotton round. The smell is very faint but the best I can do to describe it would be vinegary/acidic. I later wound up purchasing the Extra Strength one from the Clear Line (being so impressed with the Regular Strength and thinking I could kick it up a notch) but surprisingly was not as impressed (texture is oilier and found it to be less effective overall). I would appreciate it if Paula's Choice could explain the differences in the formulation/ingredients between these two exfoliators in the Clear Line.

It happened to me but this is perfectly normal and lasted about 4 weeks. It just means the product is working as it should!I used it once a week for two weeks, then twice for two weeks until I was comfortable enough to use it every second day.Your skin will absolutely thank you for it!

I use the whole acne line together as intended so I know everything as a whole cleared my skin, but I know this product put in work... This product does work! But after my skin started to clear up I basically did not need it as much and I did not know that. Let me explain. For 3 months I used this product every night and my skin got clear! I'm loving this exfoliating solution from Paula's Choice. I use it once a night and I can definitely tell a difference in my skin. It's helped with my redness around my nose and cheeks, keeps my acne at bay, and makes my skin look glows. My skin feels smoother and alot of the rough texture spots are fading. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause any irritation. It's perfect for my combination skin. Very happy with this product.
