I was encouraged by the excellent reviews for this product but, sadly, it does not work for me. It left my skin feeling like sandpaper after just two uses. I have deeply, extremely sensitive skin and have been unable to find a simple moisturizer to use. It seems that the majority of dry skin moisturizers add so much stuff to that product that sensitive skin doesn't have a chance. In all fairness, I have been searching for two years for a daily moisturizer and have been unsuccessful. I'm glad, though, that this product works for others. Just not me.

I changed to this moisturiser when I had a sudden flare up on psoriasis on my face after a week this cream had completely cleared it up. I use this morning and night and it makes your face feel so soft and you only need a little. Although on the more pricy side, this moisturiser is worth buying for your daily routine. I primarily use this at night and I love how my skin looks when I wake up! It is very hydrating and soothing to my sensitive skin. My skin is very dry so i want a moisturizer to be thick. This is thick but doesn't clog my pores. I have mild rosacea too. During really dry days I will use this as my daytime moisturizer as well. And I can always tell my skin is happier. I purchased this a few months ago and have been using it once a day at night after applying the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA exfoliator (I use Olay gentle clean foaming cleanser morning and night, followed by aczone topical acne treatment and an olay moisturizer with sunscreen in the morning). This combination of BHA and moisturizer has made a huge difference in the tone and texture of my skin. The texture feels maybe a little greasy, but I apply at night so that's not as much of a concern, and I keep waking up with a smooth, clear complexion, so it seems like it's working without causing problems. Time will tell if it helps my fine lines in combo with my other skincare, but if you have dry skin like me I'd highly recommend you try this. Please never stop selling this cream!
I love the richness of this moisturizer. I use it twice a day. It works well under foundation. It dries down less tacky than other rich moisturizers. I use tretinoin and this helps heal the flakiness that can occur. I especially love the smell of the seed oils in this; very earthy and natural. I can use it easily year round.
My up-until-now combination skin recently started feeling tight and uncomfortable, then progressed to actually flaking--all very new to me! I panicked. I switched from warm to tepid rinsing and tried applying coconut oil to my damp skin over my regular moisturizers, but tightness and flaking would return after a couple of hours. I've relied on Paula's Choice for excellent skincare for years, so I tried this moisturizer and also switched to the Recovery daytime moisturizer with sunscreen. The flaking stopped immediately and there's no more tight feeling. And it lasts all day/night! I wake up with smootht, comfortable skin and it stays that way all day long.

I originally bought this alongside the AM SPF moisturizer from the same line, planning to use it just in the winter. I thought it would be too heavy for my face in the summer. However, I was wrong. My skin absorbs this thick heavy cream really well and it's not at all oily. Doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts.I use it year round. I use tret .025% 3x a week and needed a moisturizer to help combat the dryness it causes - this Replenishing Moisturizer unfortunately did not work at all. My Cerave feels more moisturizing than this.
