Our Foxy and Jimmy are taking full advantage of their new bathroom. We have nicknamed it 'their egg spaceship'. It took them 6hrs to first use it, then three days to use is for more than 'number 1's'. It would be great if more than one cat's profile could be listed as then we would be able to track bathroom habits easier as one of our cat's is a renal cat and we need to monitor their intake and output. The instructions could be a smidge clearer and there could also be a clearer explanation of the app. Otherwise, our fur babies seem to use it well and it is definitely more convenient.

This leads to solid waste sometimes being stuck to the sides where there should be litter. Also, the instructions are not clear with regard to the buttons and functions. Arrived quickly and packaged very well. Easy to assemble & set up. I was a bit worried my cat wouldn't use it as when I first took her over to check it out she got scared and took off but I left it set up (still had her normal one as well) and waited to see what would happen. A few days later I discovered she had been using it and she still is. Awesome no more cleaning stinky trays and having cat litter scattered everywhere, she is a digger and likes to spread the joy lol. Would definitely recommend this product.

Our new pussy pet station is a lot more cleaner and neater now. Love the fact that I do need to automatically jump up to empty the tray as soon as it has been used. Now we just empty the poo bin after breakfast and evening before bed. Makes life a lot less demanding.

The ad said I was buying cats toilet. Instead I am stuck with 300 pieces of plastic. It will cost me $20 to return same. I did try to cancel order, immediately I saw the invoice, but they didn't do that. I don't trust that they will send a $36 (?) refund even if I spend a total of $30 on postage; plus petrol as Austpost is in another town 20km away. I am 67, and disabled, with limited mobility. I will not buy anything else online ever because of that false advertising.

I just finished setting mine up and my cat "Mogadee" couldn't wait and used it straight away - ignoring his old litter tray which was sitting next to it. However, I would say it is pretty large and I needed to reorganise my laundry to fit it in. Mogadee did a large poo and came out of the unit and unfortunately a tail end dropped on the step - maybe he was checking it out cause he then went back in to bury his business and the light turned green. Some minutes later, after he had left, the unit shut the door and self-cleaned so it would seem to work. My partner and I got this for our kitten and he loves it. The second day we got him he was using it!! At 10 weeks! He loves always having a clean litter to use, he always comes out ready to play. Our kitten isn’t scared of the noise it makes either but was rather interested in learning where it was coming from, but this robot litter isn’t to loud but some cats might have to get used to it. The app is also easy to use. Removal of the washable parts is really easy too. I recommend this for all my cat owner friends.

Great product but improvement is possible

I am happy with this product which is certainly better than the alternative of hand scooping poop. However, I would suggest several improvements. The product is about 1/3 larger than it needs to be. I needed to reorganise my small laundry to make room for it. It seems to be a mechanized raking rather than sifting mechanism. This results in a lot of litter being unecessarily raked into the waste bag. This is uneconomical in terms of both litter and bags. I plan to try smaller litter pellets in the hope this will reduce this problem. Currently I am changing the bag once every 2 days - once a week would be better. There seems to have been a focus on bells, lights and whistles rather than practical economy for the user. It has been necessary to find out by trial and error the effects of various buttons - for example the UV sterilization seems to still work (as it should) when the lights are off. I would also like to know how much power I save by turning off the lights. The accessories come packaged in the poop box. I have had to attach hooks to the outside of the unit for permanent storage of these items. This should have been thought of and provided for. The unit requires a dedicated power outlet. A chargeable battery operated option would be better. Having said these things the cat loves it and there is not any wee smell. In fact the cat used it as soon as it was set up - rejecting his old litter tray which was right next to it.

Terrible customer service and an even worse product.

The machine was complicated to put together and all of the parts were incredibly flimsy. Nothing stayed in place, causing the machine to have perpetual errors and leave a mess of litter everywhere, something which I was trying to avoid by purchasing this item. When the machine would enter cleaning mode, the rake would either fall off, or push the litter box compartment out, leaving the machine in a state of error where you wouldn't be able to move anything to reset it (turning the machine off at the power point and turning it back on didn't even reset it!). There only response was "please check the circled item in the attached photo and tell us if this is broken". I wrote back, reiterating my points and that I wanted a refund. This happened another 3 times, with the response from the seller being the exact same as the first email I had received from them. I even attempted to return the item in-store to which I was told no, as the item had been sold through Bunnings marketplace and I had to return it through them (even though the receipt I received for payment had the BUNNINGS logo on it, I had purchased the item from the BUNNINGS website, and all correspondence came from a BUNNINGS email). After a MONTH of back and forth emailing, I finally was "granted" a refund and was told to "dispose of the item myself". Completely unprofessional behaviour, a terrible product and very disappointing customer service all round! Bunnings, you should be ashamed.
